This is my brother, Marcus. 🤍 @marcusehendricks Paramedic. Firefighter. Cop. Now one semester from becoming a doctor. At seventeen, he almost lost his life — and decided to spend his life saving others. He’s a husband and father, with another on the way. He’s so close to the finish line, and we need our community to help him get there. Marcus is so close to finishing and needs helps covering graduation and tuition fees. Anything you can give means the world. And if you can’t give, sharing this means just as much. 🙏 Link in bio. #GoFundMe #FutureDoctor #SupportMarcus by @nikkithedesigner
My mom does not give herself enough credit so I will lol!💐💐💐. Thank you for being a shining example of what unconditional love is. You have lifted so many people up, been in rooms people would kill to be in, and have made shoes too big to fill. Thank you for all the sacrifices—the times you stepped back or used your platform to let others shine without asking for anything in return. I thank God I have you as my Mamma and realize how big of a blessing it is that I get to still celebrate mothers day with you. (yes that's my mom pregnant with me hanging out with late Rev.Jessie Jackson and Congressman Conyers!) @pierson.kay by @nikkithedesigner

First and foremost, thank you Jesus. For every late night, every closed door, every breakdown and breakthrough, You carried me the whole way. This degree is Yours too. From sewing seams to drafting floor plans… who would have thought? Four years ago, I made a bold pivot from fashion to interior architecture and design, and this journey stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. But I am still standing. Masters degree secured. To my friends and family, thank you for the grace when I went ghost, the meals when I forgot to eat, and the laughs that kept me grounded. You held me down. To my fellow interior architecture and design colleagues who walked this journey with me, your support, your presence, your “we got this” energy made all the difference. The camaraderie and lifelong friendships we built mean the world to me. @rspiegs9 @pisac @nitanuth @maiii.space @bancheridesign Keisha, @rasberrylakeisha thank you for the beautiful stole. You already know how much that meant to me. And thank you DK @ukwuanid for capturing this moment. You really snapped. We are designing spaces now. And I still have the fits. #JesusCarriedMe #DegreeSecured #FromFashionToFloorplans #CreativeGlowUp #YallIAmAnInteriorDesigner by @nikkithedesigner

Styling Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson for @elleusa magazine feels like a dream turned reality. As a young Black girl, I never imagined I’d have the chance to work with a trailblazer who represents so much strength, grace, and excellence and to do it for Elle magazine is a double win! Now I can tell my future kids I dressed the First Black Woman to become a Supreme Court Justice of the United States. This moment is for the little girl in me who believed anything is possible. 💫 #BlackExcellence #DreamsComeTrue #StyledWithPurpose #KetanjiBrownJackson #ElleMagazine Read the full profile of Justice Brown Jackson from ELLE’s October 2024 issue via the link in bio.
