Linguine al Limone with seared shrimp and chicken. This pasta 🍝 was super easy to make and is full of flavor! It’s absolute heaven on a plate consisting of a robust lemon 🍋 cream sauce, al dente linguine, and seasoned chicken 🍗 and shrimp 🍤 . Simple, decadent, and fucking magical. For the “How To” and recipe (and a good fucking laugh) check out the story highlight 💅🏾😏💁🏾‍♀️

This recent month has been a struggle to find the meaning behind the word balance. However, with the overwhelming support of both family and friends I believe I’m starting to find the sweet spot between grieving and finding the light. Thank you to every that has been there with me on this new crossroads and my Day 1s. #vacation #vacay #grief #love #support #laketahoe

At 9am yesterday I received the most heartbreaking news that my brother, Dr. Paul E. Jones, had passed away. My heart immediately sank as I became overwhelmed with immense grief. My brother was one of the most amazing , talented, funniest, smartest, and hardworking people you could have ever met.

Being 13 years my senior, he played a huge farther figure in my life and taught me many life lessons. At age 5 when he left for college I learned the importance of education and the meaning behind what it meant to be truly independent (and boy did he never let me forget that he was always one degree ahead of me 🤣). Throughout my childhood, while he lived in North Carolina, he had would always offer up his home during the summer where I would visit him every year and stay with him for at least 2 months. We would laugh (and if you know me and my sense of humor, imagine that x 200 IYKYK 🤣) , watch and repeat lines from movies like White Chicks, Legally Blonde, Scary Movie 2, playing video games like sonic and mortal kombat, the list goes on. He would also take me along with him to the university he worked at and showed me all about what college had to offer and would always tell me that any room I walked in, odds are I’m probably the smartest. That encouragement (and pseudo-hype) served as the fuel to make me the person I am today.

Even through all of his health issues and the many sacrifices he had to face, he made sure to keep his family and his community of friends first. He was one of the most selfless, kind (but ruthless), loyal, and motivating people I know.

I was fortunate enough to have him in town to celebrate my mother’s 60th bday and we had an absolute blast. I can say that I’m truly blessed to have been able to spend those moments with him shortly before his passing. “I am so proud of you and the person you have become. You are the vision of the person I dreamt of you becoming and I’m so happy for you” those were the exact words he stated to me the day he left my house and I will never forget them as they will forever be a part of my ongoing legacy.

Love you Brother. Honored to have you as a brother, a father figure, a role model, and a hero. 💙 by @nikko_jones21

Seared Boneless Ribeye and Creamy Truffle Mushroom Rissotto. One of my absolute favorite meals to make. Using the sous vide on the steak and a medley of porcini/shiitake mushrooms made this dish extra special 🤤. Check out my story highlight for the entertaining “How to” and recipe 💁🏾‍♀️🤸🏾‍♂️😏
