There are days when the fog drifts so quietly among the trees that you feel like time itself has stopped. When I stood in the middle of this forest, I perceived nothing else but the cold, damp air, the scent of wet earth, and that precious moment of absolute silence. Fog doesn't exist to hide things, quite the opposite. It lets the essential stand out. It reveals shapes, textures, and an atmosphere where all the noise of the surrounding world fades away. Whenever I pick up my camera, I don't just try to capture reality. I want to imprint a piece of my own signature into it, to convey the emotion, peace, and mood that I am experiencing at that very moment. I paint with light and shadow, look for silence in details, and allow myself to slow down for a moment and simply be present. Today, I am bringing a piece of this forest mist and the atmosphere I carry in my heart to share with you. I hope you will pause for a moment and breathe along with me. Which of these moments resonates with you the most? #canoncamera #madewithlightroom #FineArtPhotography #DarkAesthetic #naturephotography Captered on my Canon EOS R8 Lens RF 100-400 mm f 5.6-8 IS USM 📍 Jeseníky mountains, Czech Republic 🇨🇿 Thank you for the cover photo @traveler_bob_ by @nikola.moncmanova
Hey there, I’m Nikola! Welcome to my visual gallery. I’m a photographer from Slovakia who loves nature and all the beauty it has to offer. After 18 years, I decided to fulfill my dream to buy a camera and do what I truly enjoy, what interests me, and what fulfills me. I put a piece of myself into every photograph, my view of the world, my emotions, and my love for nature. No weather can stop me, whether it’s a hot summer with strong wind, a chilly, damp fall that “surprises” you with rain, fog, or an early snowfall, or a freezing winter that blankets the landscape in snow and makes your hands freeze after just two minutes. My passion is turning these moments into fine art prints that bring a piece of nature’s energy and calm straight into your home 🌿🖼️ You can explore the full collection and order via the link in my bio 🔗 by @nikola.moncmanova
Golden shore of peace As the sun dips lower, it wraps the entire landscape in warm, velvety shades of ochre and amber. The dark silhouettes of trees on the bank stand quietly over the water, almost holding their breath in the last rays of the day. Light shimmers across the gentle ripples of the river, turning the water's surface into liquid gold. In moments like these, time slows down, leaving only the scent of the riverbank, the soft rustle of the trees, and a sense of complete harmony with wild nature. 📍 Discover this photograph and many others capturing the magic of untamed nature. Mirror of silence When you pause for a moment and look through the natural frame of dense tree crowns, the world reveals itself to you. I wanted to capture the peaceful and almost meditative atmosphere in the shadow of the Danube branches behind the Čunovo waterworks. The water surface faithfully reflects the warm autumn tones and the still-green vegetation lining the banks. It is a quiet sanctuary in the middle of Slovak nature, where you can hear only the gentle rustle of leaves in the wind, the splashing of water, and birdsong in the background, in short, an ideal place to find inner balance and admire the hidden beauties of Slovakia. #canonczsk #madewithlightroom #fineartnature #danuberiver #slovaknature Captered on my Canon EOS R8 Lens RF 100-400 mm f/5.6-8 IS USM 📍 Danube branches, Čunovo waterworks Bratislava, Slovakia 🇸🇰 by @nikola.moncmanova
Guardians of silence on the water Two white egrets stand at the edge of the still water like white lighthouses in the shade of the deep forest. The surrounding nature breathes ever so softly – the water gently laves the shore blanketed in rustling grass and leaves, while ducks glide beneath the canopy of trees, creating delicate ripples on the water. The air is filled with peace, as if the entire world around these two elegant birds has paused for a moment, leaving them to rule over this quiet aquatic realm. #canonczsk #natgeoyourshot #madewithlightroom #wildlifephotography #slovaknature Captered on my Canon EOS R8 Lens RF 100-400 mm f/5.6-8 IS USM 📍 Captured along the side branch of the Danube at the Čunovo Water Work, Slovakia 🇸🇰 by @nikola.moncmanova
Mirror of time and shadows The deep breath of the forest reflects on the quiet surface. Where mighty poplars bend toward the river, time flows more slowly. The water is cool and calm, its surface rippled only by a gentle breeze. The air smells of earth and green leaves. In the dense canopies, birds sing their songs and the sun penetrates through the foliage. The silence of the forest soothes the mind, in which an ancient rhythm of nature resonates, speaking of its secrets. The forest reveals its treasures to anyone willing to open their heart to its embrace. #canonczsk #madewithlightroom #naturephotography #slovenskapriroda #fineartprints Captered on my Canon EOS R8 Lens RF 100-400 mm f/5.6-8 IS USM 📍 Captured along the side branch of the Danube at the Čunovo Water Work, Slovakia 🇸🇰 by @nikola.moncmanova
