POSTS STORIES REELS
“Our Last Day As Kids” I’m very proud to bring to you @ourlastdayaskids an upcoming short film from the extremely talented Dylan Hryciuk. It’s a coming of age story set around the mid 2000s punk and emo scene, which resonates a lot with me! Big thanks to everyone who poured their blood, sweat and tears into this one to get it made (I am mean everyone!) Special thanks to @atlaslensco for sponsoring the film with their silver edition lenses. And huge props to @wadeodlum and the @alteregopost team for tying it all together in the colour suite. The premiere screening is May 17th in Saskatchewan and if you are in the area I strongly suggest you attend before it hits the festival network! Thanks y’all. This was a special one! Go OLDAK! Oh yeah. Shot on the Alexa 35 with Atlas Orion special silver edition anamorphics! “Death in the Afternoon” Stills from the up coming short film with @brandocox and sponsored by @dzofilm optics I could not be happier with the crew and talent on this fun, quirky short about a long draining marriage. Big thanks to DZO for helping to fund and getting us the 40mm Arles Vista Vision lens. (90 percent of the short was on this lens) and it looked stunning! Captured on the Alexa 35. The short is a lot of fun and will be hitting festivals soon! “Hollow Ones” Part 1. I am super proud of the visual tone and world that Adrian, Eric and myself accomplished on this one! The script was great. Onnipod - Max Domi This was a crazy one where we had a small window to get everything with the @max So we had all of our lights and cues dialed into the Blackout app and every crew member on standby to hustle things around! All of the transitions and textures where done practically in camera with video assets on the @spstudioscanada wall and a collection of prisms, glass shards and diopters I’ve collected over the years to throw in front of the lens! TD - Cricket It was a very unique experience filming a sport that I knew absolutely nothing about…and I think that’s what made it more fun! First time jamming with The very talented @ed_mcculloch and the Scenes were Mostly Doc set-ups, so leaning into the best things on the day never strayed us wrong. Oh and there was a heavy VFX component so @mathematic.tv thanks so much for crushing it with our hasty blue screen set ups! And to cam for combing through and finding those little moments!
