POV: You finally get nails that match your new island glow, gonna look at these for daaaaays @cinnamoonbali 🦋🌱💛 by @ninaalois

Afterglow will be yours next Friday, August 28. I can’t wait to share this one with you all. I feel more nervous this time though, this song is more naked, more of my bare thoughts, more of me. What I’m saying is that this one’s really personal to me. It’s basically my last two years put into a song. Forgive the old versions of yourself who didn’t know any better and choose to become more of you, day by day. You’ll find that glow again, trust me, I lost mine but regained it even stronger. Also, you’re allowed to change. But first you need to say goodbye:

”Say goodbye, I won’t forget, every version that I’ve been, but I won’t live there again.
Say goodbye, through the tears, through the pain, I won’t numb it all again. I’m alive, I finally know. Was made for this afterglow.”

2 months have gone by and this was as much for the gram as it was for me, creating this post made me realize how much I’ve already grown. Here’s to changing direction, not knowing where to eventually end up but enjoying the journey.

I guess I’m jumping again without feeling completely ready, but do we ever feel 100% ready for those brave decisions? 🦋 by @ninaalois

To all my amazing friends back home in Sweden, love you 🧡 by @ninaalois

It’s been a very special week. Being forced to slow down has definitely brought a few things to the surface, especially when your usual way of processing emotions is sweating them out at the gym. Not been feeling like myself. But towards the end of the week I had more energy, got out of the villa and found a little rhythm again 🦋

Full disclosure, this is one of those very unrealistic posts, didn’t take photos of me laying in bed at the first part of the week wallowing in all my feeeeels with fever & pain. So this is only highlights.

Healing well after the scooter accident though, and soooo happy it wasn’t any worse. And hey, things happen & we adapt accordingly. Let’s try to carpe diem this week with some productivity shall we✌🏼(trying to boost myself writing that sentence*) by @ninaalois

I really felt this poem in my heart. Keep showing up for yourself & keep going, you’ll get to where you wanna be 💌

Can’t even believe how different my life looks in comparison to last year. Be patient while creating a life that makes you shine brighter. It takes time but it’s all worth it ❤️

This is a reminder to myself and you: don’t compare yourself to others - you’ve got your own timeline ❤️ by @ninaalois

Soda water, stitches covered in leopard print, a bali sunset, walking slow, antibiotics & in bed early. Not a bad combination on a Saturday in October huh? 🤎 by @ninaalois
