With CONO, we wanted to reconsider an object we interact with every day and give it a more sculptural presence.

The black marble basin sits above a mirror-polished stainless-steel base, bringing together the solidity of stone and the fluid, shifting reflections of metal. It is our attempt to make function feel less fixed and more expressive.

“Repetition turns a single form into a landscape.”

With the Tronco Forest Console, we wanted to capture the rhythm of a forest through the interplay of wood and metal. The sculptural stainless steel cylinders, each with its own undulating surface, rise through a black-stained wood top, evoking the irregularity of tree trunks.

For us, the interest lies in how repetition can create a sense of movement, transforming individual forms into something that feels almost like a landscape.

Studio CØR x Nitush Aroosh | Paris Design Week

There was something special about seeing these pieces in Paris.

The light, the architecture, the reflections, everything around them seemed to change the way they were experienced. @cor___studio , brought together a selection of Nitush Aroosh’s work, where metal bends, curves and moves beyond its expected form.

A little glimpse into the exhibition

We’ve been working on this artwork, in one way or another, since 2021.

The idea was to take what we’d been doing with metal through furniture and lighting and see where else it could go. We wanted to move away from making an object and instead use metal to build a scene.

The staircase, the little doorway, the circular opening, each element came together to create a space that feels a little familiar, but not quite real. The reflective metal around it adds another layer, almost like looking into a place through a distorted mirror.

It took a while to get here, but this piece gave us the chance to explore metal in a way we’d been wanting to for a long time.

What happens when light takes on a form of its own?

Hand-blown glass spheres gather around a polished stainless steel structure, each one different in scale and transparency. Together, they create a composition that feels less assembled and more in motion.

At Nitush Aroosh, we see furniture and lighting as functional art. Objects that hold their own, even when the room around them changes.

Meet ONDA.

With its fluid, undulating form and deep black finish, ONDA has a presence that feels almost sculptural. The glossy sides bring out every contour, while the matte surface on top creates a quiet contrast.

What interests us about ONDA is the balance between its sculptural presence and everyday function. Despite its substantial appearance, the piece is surprisingly lightweight, allowing it to move easily between spaces.

A different perspective from every angle.

What happens when a line refuses to stay straight?

The Lasso Coffee Table takes a simple idea and lets it wander. Hand-formed stainless steel loops, bends and folds back on itself, creating a base that feels almost drawn by hand. Topped with glass, it lets every curve remain in view.

In black, the undulations come into their own, catching the light, revealing their depth, and making the metal feel almost fluid.

A little unpredictable. Entirely intentional.

NITUSH AROOSH | Where Metal Comes Alive by @nitusharoosh

Field of Silence is a wall composition in polished stainless steel, its surface catching light while distorting the reflection of its surroundings. The modules begin as hollow forms shaped through hydroforming, using fluid pressure, and are then worked by hand. Folds, depressions and subtle shifts in the plane break up the reflected interior, stretch highlights and alter perspective as the viewer moves. Its point of reference lies in erosion and the movement of water: not their depiction, but the traces left by pressure, motion and time across a surface. Conceived as a diptych, the work can also be extended with additional modules to form larger wall arrangements.

Field of Silence to ścienna kompozycja z polerowanej stali nierdzewnej, której powierzchnia przechwytuje światło i deformuje odbicie otoczenia.

There’s something about the way light finds its way through smoky glass that makes you want to stop and look a little longer.

The Molecule Lamp explores this quiet fascination through smoky glass spheres gathered around a textured stainless steel structure. Each sphere catches, softens, and reflects light differently, creating a form that feels ever-changing.

It’s the kind of piece you’d want to live with even when it’s not switched on. More than illuminating a room, it gives the space something to look at, to discover, and to experience differently as the light changes.
