POSTS STORIES REELS

it’s more than just a workshop by @niveen_unas…

because sometimes people don’t come just to learn something new…

they come to slow down.
to meet strangers.
to have conversations.
to create without pressure.
to reconnect with parts of themselves they forgot existed...

what Niveen created was more than a table full of people sketching…

it was moments, conversations, laughter, curiosity, and connections…

and maybe that’s what art has always been about…

hosted at warehouse 56 at @alserkalavenue during the @studiothirteen_dxb blank space residency…

Wonderland of Unfinished translation I

A place where trees become people, mountains hold memories, and stories unfold through layers of tracing paper, prints, and wandering lines. This work has gradually evolved into a world of fragmented landscapes and elusive narratives.

Created during the artist residency for the blank space initiative, these pieces explore what happens when memories, identities, and experiences shift between form. Never fully arriving, always becoming something new.

Swipe through the traces, the forests, the moonlit pathways, and the spaces in between. Perhaps getting lost is part of the translation. by @niveen_unas

The Weight of the Lines

What began as a tantrum on paper, with lines overlapping and tangling into each other, slowly loosened the tightness in my chest. The lines found a rhythm, and the weight lifted. by @niveen_unas

Cosmic Vortex

Over a recent holiday, I experienced something that’s a little difficult to put into words.
It reminded me of what some people call a " soul tribe " gathering. Not in a grand or mystical way, but simply a moment where everyone seemed to arrive with the same intention to absorb art, to give, to listen, and to be present with each other amidst ancient trees.
At moments it almost felt like we were sitting inside what we later described as a cosmic vortex. A flow where connection, reflection, tears and laughter all happened naturally.
I’m still reflecting on how rare and beautiful those moments were, and this work reflects the synergy we felt between us and the universe.

This one is to give credit to someone special who kept pushing me to do more every time I thought I was done with the painting. " Go deeper ", she said. @kroniclesrogue 🙏 by @niveen_unas

Present by @niveen_unas

Being present is listening , giving back when asked , being kind at all times, not taking anything or anyone for granted.

My mind is thinking of a new piece to create , I am grateful for not thinking of the outcome but the process of how light touches.

Be kind. by @niveen_unas
