POSTS STORIES REELS

I haven’t cried in years. But while preparing for this painting, I cried for two days. There’s such a deep meaning behind this piece.

„THERE’S A SUN” was created for @griefyards_project in response to a letter of grief written by a mother to her daughter named Theresa, who passed away at a very young age. What touched me most was her promise to never stop talking about her daughter and sharing memories of her.

This thought became the starting point for my work. The title contains an intentional play on words with the name THERESA, while the painting itself is deliberately expressed through a childlike visual language.

The sun symbolizes the enduring nature of these memories. As long as there is a sun, her story will continue to be told and her memory will live on. ☀️ by @nizen.art

what if the perfect painting is the one you never see?
inspired by a little story from The Little Prince, I created a wooden art shipping crate that holds whatever painting you imagine inside.

I’m currently working on conceptual pieces again for an upcoming show. with this piece called “RED CARPET”, I want to explore the possibilities of canvas as a medium. not just hanging on a wall but becoming part of the space itself.
