POSTS STORIES REELS

Had an unforgettable night on Saturday when I went to see The Wonder Years! I crowd surfed, I screamed, woke up with no voice and a slight ringing in my ear…but the coolest thing by far was getting the chance to meet Dan (the lead singer) and one of the opening groups “Initiate”.

Thanks for letting me stick around a bit to say hi and thanks for the 10 years of “No Closer to Heaven” by @njbenik

When your favorite artist of all time won’t be touring, you gotta find the next best thing and in this case…I did.

@songexploder put on a live recording of their podcast with @boniver and his producer @jimestack where they broke down the song “Day One” and wow…

It was so cool to listen to them talk about their process and how this song came to be. We got to go through and hear the audio stems layer by layer to catch all the smaller details of the songs production and they even shared some early demo recordings to show where the whole thing started.

I was fascinated the entire time just listening to how they created this fantastic piece of music and this show has changed how I’ll hear the song forever. by @njbenik

1 Big Show, 2 Nights 🏎️

A few days ago, I decided to take myself on a vacation and flew across the country to see one of my favorite artists, Jon Bellion. My friends and I were lucky enough to see him perform on both nights of the event and I won’t forget either of them.

Along with the concerts…I explored the city a bit. Got to visit the Met, walked through Central Park, ate some NY pizza, had an air mattress thrown at our heads, and I finally got to see some UNCSA friends after 3 years.

Thank you NYC. by @njbenik

I’ve had to stay quiet about this for some time now, but I’m finally able to share my TV Spot for the new film “Jurassic World: Rebirth”

This :30 second trailer is the first spot I have ever gotten to cut professionally and this wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic team at @bigpic_la

They supported my vision for this spot from its original rough cut, all the way to its debut on television. Getting to work on this for the past few months has been an unforgettable learning experience and an incredibly rewarding opportunity.

If you haven’t already, go spend this weekend seeing some big dinosaurs chasing down some good lookin people through the forest. 🦖🦕

Since we’re now almost halfway through 2024, thought it might be time to finally post something.

It’s already been a great year full of memories. by @njbenik

The other night I got the chance to see Sweet Pill, Action/Adventure, Anxious, and The Wonder Years all within one night and all for the first time…it was awesome. Simple as that. I wish I got more videos but after the first few songs I remembered how much I loved experiencing a mosh pit so the phone had to go. by @njbenik

Just over three weeks ago, I left North Carolina and traveled across the country with my Dad, to move to LA.

Within those past three weeks, I’ve seen states and landmarks I never thought I would see, actually won some money in Vegas, went to my first LA Concert in Hollywood, met some amazing editors at a convention, saw friends I haven’t seen in years, and went on my first mountain hiking trip right off the beaches of Malibu.

Although I miss home and my family, I could not say thank you enough to them for supporting my career and my move out here. Without them, none of these experiences could have been possible. by @njbenik

I couldn’t have asked for a better group of artists to graduate with. My college journey is now over and soon my L.A. adventure will begin!

This L.A. trip was perfect in every way and I can’t wait to head out there! We got to visit The Talk, Netflix, a cool Star Wars themed bar, met with alumni and Will Files (the sound mixer of The Batman and Stranger Things), FINALLY went to In-N-Out, and had meetings with multiple editorial teams!

What a time it’s been by @njbenik

Last nights concert was seriously one of the wildest experiences! What a great send off for our final weeks of college. Thank You @bilmuriband @oblvyn & @aimhigh803 for the show! by @njbenik

Oh my sweet Boa…thanks for being my best bud for the past 14 years…now go be Pop Pop’s.❤️ I will forever miss you. by @njbenik

It has never come to my mind that I would have to make this post...but last night, my family and I had lost the strongest, goofiest, and the most kind hearted marine we could have ever asked for to call as our grandfather. He was my film buddy and I was his. He was my biggest fan and was there for me at every corner, twist and turn. I will miss your random movie conversations that you would have with me to make sure I had company when I first left for college, and I will always miss just sitting down and listening to your stories. I’ll make sure to watch as many films as I can for you and I’ll make sure to watch A Christmas Story on christmas eve like we always did. I love you Pop Pop and I’ll see you soon to show you all the cool movies I make. by @njbenik
