💽 We've received some rave reviews for our Pocket Universe release back in September on @nmcrecordings. Here are some notable highlights: “It is safe to say that the group, founded in 2002 by James Weeks and Juliet Fraser and led since then by Weeks, is not only one of Europe’s leading vocal consorts, but one of it’s outstanding new music ensembles in any format.” – Editors Choice, Gramophone Magazine “virtuoso vocals with a joyfully bonkers bent” **** – The Guardian “No one but EXAUDI could, or does, sing this music, and so the group is to be applauded and garlanded for being, within its niche of the radical and extreme, the very best in the business.” – The Arts Desk “Exaudi’s 14 outstanding voices in various combinations are superb advocates for these works in a recording with excellent balance, clarity and spatial perspectives.” ***** – Choir & Organ 🎧 Intrigued to learn more? OUT NOW: The second single from Dobrinka Tabakova’s album ‘Stone Trail’ 🎉🎉 This track is the fifth movement from Tabakova's 'Moreni' for clarinet, string quartet and piano, written in 2007. 🎶 Moreni (moraines) are vast accumulations of boulders found in Bulgarian mountain regions such as Vitosha and Pirin, sometimes concealing streams that flow beneath their surface. 🪨 The five movements of this work form a symmetrical structure, with this last movement concluding the work with a final reflection. 🎧 Link in bio to listen! 💿 Link in bio to pre-save the full album, which is out on 13 November #dobrinkatabakova #piano #contemporarymusic #clarinet #stringquartet by @nmcrecordings

OUT NOW on Birmingham Record Company - Andy Ingamells: Vanity project 🎉 'Vanity Project' is the first solo album by Irish-based composer-performer Andy Ingamells. Bringing together works written between 2008 and 2026, the album explores what happens when the roles of composer and performer become intertwined. Performed almost entirely by Ingamells himself, it draws on spoken word, melodicas, vocoder, pipe organ, laptop, bells, fixed media and everyday actions to create music in which composition and performance are treated as a single, continuous activity. 🎶 🔗 Link in bio to listen! #contemporarymusic #newmusic #andyingamells by @nmcrecordings
