Great to teach a clinch seminar at my old gym @wokingthaiboxingclub last night. @michaelmurphy555 took me in when I first moved down from a Scotland and I fought under his name in my early career. Also made some of my closest friends here so it was great to see the faces old (in Mick’s case ancient) and new. Thanks for having me guys!

Posted @withregram • @wokingthaiboxingclub Some photos from our great seminar last night hosted by the amazing @no1fensom. Clinching is 50% of Muay Thai and Dave taught some excellent techniques which really levelled up everyone’s knowledge!

Madness to think my last fight was 9 years ago today, on the 15th of March 2014! I fought for the ISKA Intercontinental Super Featherweight title and won that prestigious belt!

Nowadays I turn my focus towards my fighters and the people at @fensoms_gym I now call family and hope to pass on everything I’ve learnt in the last 22 years, along with everything I continue to learn along the way. I will always be a student of this great sport and I like to think that the openness and willingness to continue to learn and pass on knowledge will help me grow as a coach and a mentor to my team ❤️👊🏽

Issue No.2 of The Training Room is Shot at Fensom's.

When I bumped into Dave Fensom earlier this year, some of his students were taking part in my gym's interclub. I thought he'd make a perfect choice for TTR.

(Please turn over)

As I made the short journey across the M25, I started to wonder ; what would his gym look like? What would his teaching style be? I'd heard from a few people that he teaches the clinch, which is always a plus with me.

Pulling into the industrial estate, it was soon time for me to find out.

@no1fensom x PDMA

Has taken a while to put some bits and pieces together, but another big thank you to Dave for coming down to the team, enhancing everyone’s clinch game and supporting the development of PDMA and our clients 🙌🏼❤️
