POV: Your own fictional character is more excited about your achievements than you are. 😂

Noah just found out that his creator had a newspaper interview, and apparently, he's already celebrating. 📰😍

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to process the fact that this is actually happening. 🥹

From writing stories in my own little world to having the chance to share them with a newspaper — what a journey.

Looks like Noah has a lot to say about this one. 😂🖤

Seriously, for some of us, Harry Potter is more than just a book or a movie. It's childhood memories, comfort, friendships, imagination and a world we grew up loving.

That doesn't mean we agree with every opinion of its creator. Being a fan doesn't mean blindly supporting everything someone says or does.

We can acknowledge the harm caused by certain statements without pretending that the stories never meant anything to us.

Liking a movie isn't a political statement. Enjoying a fictional universe doesn't automatically mean endorsing its creator's personal views.

Critical thinking means being able to separate things, form your own opinions and make your own decisions.
You don't need to pass someone else's purity test to prove that you respect and support other human beings.

It's really not that complicated. 🙄🪄

So keep loving the magic. Keep enjoying the stories. Keep visiting Hogwarts in your imagination. Keep the memories alive.

And never let anyone tell you that enjoying a fictional world means you have to compromise your real-life values.

Stay kind. Stay open-minded. Stand up for each other. And keep the magic alive. 🪄🏳️‍⚧️❤️ by @noah_official_unfiltered

Yesterday, my co-author and I beamed ourselves straight into Book 2 for a very important meeting with our protagonists, Lila and Leo. 👀✍️

The agenda? Their future, their love life, and why these two are making our jobs unnecessarily difficult. 💀

• Lila: “I have a café to run. I have bills to pay. I have approximately seven hundred things to do, and somehow, you’re still one of them.”

• Leo: “You could’ve just said you missed me.”

• Lila: “I could’ve. But then you’d get ideas.”

• Leo: “Too late. I’m a photographer. Getting ideas is literally my job.”

• Lila: “And yet you still haven’t figured out when to shut up.”

• Leo: “Funny. You used to like that about me.”

ME AND MY CO-AUTHOR: EXCUSE ME. WE CALLED THIS MEETING TO DISCUSS THE PLOT, NOT TO UNPACK YEARS OF UNRESOLVED FEELINGS. 😭💀

And somewhere between Lila pretending she has everything under control and Leo acting like he can read her better than anyone else, we actually made some progress.

Because apparently, running a café and chasing a photography career across the ocean are the easy parts.

It’s the feelings that are causing problems. ❤️‍🩹

Book 2 is in the works, and these two are already testing our patience.

Lila, please stop pretending you don’t care.

Leo, please stop making it so obvious that you know she does.

And both of you? COULD YOU PLEASE LET US FINISH ONE MEETING IN PEACE?! 😭✍️
