There’s no better way to understand the impact of our work than hearing it from the people who experience it. 💙

These heartfelt reflections from some of our attendees capture what our Rhythm of Life drumming and art workshop is all about. Inspired by Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, each session uses rhythm, creativity and shared experiences to spark conversation, encourage self expression and bring moments of joy, confidence and connection for people living with dementia.

Every smile, every story and every beat reminds us that meaningful engagement can make a real difference.

Thank you to everyone who shared their experience with us. 🎵🎨

🥁💙 Rhythm of Life💙🥁

We were delighted to deliver our Rhythm of Life Workshop at @yourcroydon Marsh & Willow Dementia Day Service

It was amazing to see everyone fully engaged and learning a beat, playing in synchronisation and getting creative having fun! The smiles and laughter said it all.

Our workshop is based on Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST), using music, rhythm, creativity and social interaction to help stimulate thinking, encourage communication, improve confidence and support wellbeing for people living with dementia.

If you’d like to bring Rhythm of Life to your Care Home or community group, we’d love to hear from you.

Jazz and Highlife music from Africa. @karibannerman leads the trio, playing music from his heritage and beyond. We last played this repertoire in October and it was an amazing night so we’re doing it again! by @noel_drum_n_drum

I have recently been exploring the capabilities of the moog sub 37; it’s sounds, modulations and features. In preparation for bass lines, rhythmic loops and soundscapes to be played and manipulated in a live improvised performance. @klausbru brings in the folk music of the world (typically from Eastern Europe and Turkey), Avant-garde ridden improvisation concepts, air sounds and electronic noises, strange meters and odd tempos, plus meandering melodies coming from the heart. @noel_drum_n_drum: The spirit of music guides me in every performance. Through improvisation, I find freedom and connection, letting intuition shape the sound. I’m inspired by exploring new genres, each offering a fresh way for the music to speak. by @noel_drum_n_drum
