The reveal of our Design on a Dime 2025, 20th Anniversary Vignette!

Titled, "We the People & Planet: An American Salon" we explore extremes in style, era, pattern, culture and color in our take on the Red, White & Blue. We are inspired by the beauty, diversity, power, strength and fragility of the expansive landscape, precious habitat and inspiring humanity within our home country. We recognize our indigenous, enslaved, and immigrant histories, and we hope to honor and empower a collective spirit towards freedom and justice for all. - beam&bloom by @noelgatts

So many thanks to all of our incredible vendors, and donors. It was a joy to see everyone coming together for @hwdesignonadime @housingworks …and their vital cause.

Special thanks to @derekgatts @paulsarrubbo_jec 1nickimcauliffe @md_paintingandwallpaperllc and David Kass for their love and labor putting it all together by @noelgatts

Two photo shoots in one week…with two totally different vibes!

One for a multi room southwest inspired Lake Lodge, and the other for a Scandi-mid-century-mashup, kitchen and dining room.

Both were so much fun and both were captured by the capable lens of @hello_aimee.photos .

And…both were obviously the work of my interior design studio, @beamandbloom 😊

Stay tuned! by @noelgatts

My first omakase experience @oenomakase did not disappoint! Beautiful ambiance, excellent service and incredible flavors.

Thanks for taking me last weekend, @derekgatts ! It was a perfect belated anniversary date. There’s no one I’d rather adventure, parent and fight fascism with. by @noelgatts

🌱Bloom Where You’re Planted🌱

What a delightful evening we had hosting our Stem Bar Social at the beautiful @glenridgecc last night! 🌸

There’s something so special about gathering a room full of new friends and familiar faces for an evening of sweets, creativity, and connection…especially as we feel summer gently melding into fall. 🍂

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff at @glenridgecc for their thoughtful care in hosting us, and to @florajoy_flowers for the gorgeous blooms.

Here’s to more evenings like this one!

In our natural habitat…and out on the town!!!

It was our 24th Anniversary today, and we had a time!! a day in the city with our two youngest kids. We ate pie & ice cream for lunch, visited our friend @kevenq (who KILLED IT as Josh) in @schmigadoon and then had speakeasy pizza at @seenoevilpizza !

It was a day filled with love & wonder & gratitude. We feel so fortunate to have rooted in NJ just outside of NYC, where culture and comfort are abundant, and our lives have fully bloomed.

Thanks @derekgatts for the journey! Cheers to many more years! by @noelgatts

We updated the beam&bloom website a bit!

We’ve organized our portfolio by project, shifted some images around and cleaned a few things up.

We’d love it if youd visit us online!!!

It’s his birthday!!!!!

We’ve been married half of his life, and I’m doing everything in my power to triple that time…at least. He’s smart, handsome, talented, dedicated, loving & bougie. The Silver Fox era is fire. He’s the best.

Thank you for being YOU @derekgatts ! I feel lucky every day to be living this life together, and I know our kids are the luckiest, too.

Cheers to the years!!! by @noelgatts

When actress Reshma Shetty (of Royal Pains, Pure Genius, and Blindspot) came to us wanting to bring her Westchester County home to life, we drew inspiration from sleek New York City lounges to give her builder-grade house the feel of a high-end hotel with comfortable glamour that is full of personality. Reshma was drawn to contemporary lines and pops of vibrant blues and greens, so we layered saturated Benjamin Moore navy and slate tones, patterned wallpapers, and rich textiles throughout, from a moody, music-filled salon with a black velvet sofa and grand piano, to a bold blue-and-gold dining room anchored by a live-edge table, to a light, airy living room with an oversized sofa and swirling aqua rug. Our favorite space, the sunlit breakfast nook, pairs marble finishes with jewel-toned velvet chairs and fluid Schumacher wallpaper, while upstairs a hidden reading nook and an emerald, gold-filigreed primary bedroom round out the home's modern-elegant story. Every room was designed to feel personal and lived-in without sacrificing style. Her beautiful home is proof that boutique-hotel glamour and everyday comfort can absolutely coexist.

What’s keeping you up at night?…besides mass injustice. Like actually physically waking you up at night.

Is it perimenopause and my cat?

Same.

The truth is...

We are really great at designing for the unique character and needs of each client, AND we are not great at regular social media content.

Several friends have told us to post more...so we're trying!!!! Too often we stop ourselves because "we've already posted this!", even if it's been several months or a couple years. Apparently, that's not something that is supposed to keep you from posting.

Thus, please find here a throwback showing how simple palettes and perfectly placed pieces can bring everything...and everyone...home.

Look at this little gent!!!

He and his family were a joy to spend some time with on a design consult today. They are fans of the @hgtv shows I co-hosted with my buddy @joemazzahomeinspections …so, (of course) they are delightful people!

I’m excited to share some ideas over the next few days to bring their warm & wonderful personalities into their new home.

Happy Weekend everyone! Share a smile and an open heart.

Cape May is magical.

We are grateful for the generosity of good friends, and the invitation to experience their home away from home here.

We were welcomed by a rainbow, and the wonders haven’t ceased. We’re having so much fun that we’re not documenting a whole lot, but you’ll get the idea with these few shared moments.

Wishing you all some tranquility and marvel this summer.
