25 years ago Band of Brothers premiered, a masterpiece, with some of the most incredible actors. Thank you for the history, thank you for the inspiration, and simply thank you. I can’t wait to watch the documentary.

It’s an old watercolor painting of Frank John Hughes and Kirk Acevedo portraying the incredible William J “Wild Bill” Guarnere and Joseph J “Joe” Toye

This gorgeous girl is Harriet, a Brussel mix. She reminds me of an Ewok and because of that, I absolutely loved painting her! Harry made my day!

I'm excited to partner with @noemieyost to offer these beautiful pet portraits in oil!

These make great memorials to remember pets that have passed or simply decorate with your beloved pets of the present.

It’s always so special to paint a memorial portrait. You spend hours with a beautiful soul and you try to catch that light in their eyes. With Erin, it was easy, she is so bright. There’s so much life in her eyes, I could almost hear her laugh even though we never met. It was a unique moment with her.

If you don’t already know @davidholmes83 David Holmes, I highly recommend you watch his documentary “The Boy Who Lived”. I can’t even begin to describe it, but it will do something to you. This man is so positive and not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. That documentary had a big impact on me, sometimes too close to home in such different ways but so powerful.
Since I saw it I’ve been wanting to thank him but I didn’t know how. A few weeks ago, his beloved companion passed away. I cried reading his posts because I feel the same way about my cats. And weirdly enough, that little girl of his reminds me of my little senior cat that has cancer. That’s when I knew how to thank him… with a portrait of her.

Animals are incredible. Their love is pure. The love and care I saw in Kimber’s eye when I was painting her was just amazing. This is why memorial portraits are always so meaningful to me.
