I am thrilled to be offering a unique workshop in Bandon for the Banshee Festival on Thursday 29th of October. No singing skills are required just an open mind to fun, inspiration, poetry, new beginnings and song as this season of Samhain calls us to embrace. The venue is also very special - St. Peter’s Church in Ballymoden Place, Bandon and we will gather from 6 - 8 pm or so with a cuppa along the way.
I hope to see you there to celebrate Samhain 2026 in great style! Beannachtaí, Nóirín

A seed has been planted. 🌱

A seed for unity, for connection across faiths, and for elevating the sacred feminine voice — through music, film, listening and shared presence.

Thank you to everyone who came, listened, and supported Shekhinah, My Love. It was a beautiful beginning, and we hope this gathering will continue to grow and blossom.

With deep gratitude to @ruth_wiedermagan_voice, @noirininterfaith and @avia.gurman.artist for bringing their voices, art and spirit to this shared space.

A special thank you to @celtickirtan - Eileen Bray for her amazing voice and generous support, and to Francis and Teach Fáilte at the @ul_chaplaincy_teachfailte UL for warmly hosting us.

May the seed we planted together take root, grow strong, and remind us of the beauty of coming together. 🤍🌿

Listening for the Living Voice
Nóirín Ní Riain and I are returning to Glenstal Abbey on Saturday, 12 September, for a day inspired by Hildegard of Bingen.
This will be our fifth retreat together and our third gathering devoted particularly to Hildegard. Through voice, music, Irish, movement, sacred sound, silence and conversation, we will explore what Hildegard's living wisdom might offer us now.
This isn't a day of learning about Hildegard from a distance. It is an invitation to listen - to ourselves, to one another, to the land and to what may be quietly asking to come alive.
No previous experience of singing, Irish, Sanskrit or Hildegard is needed.
Saturday, 12 September 2026 | 10am-5pm | Glenstal Abbey

Nóirín and I are delighted and stirred to announce this six pointed pilgrimage through the most profound Christian Mysteries for a yearly cycle, with traditional Irish song and elements of Celtic Christianity as a doorway into a communal exploration of the felt sense of what these mysteries are about and how their contemplation can enrich our lives on personal, social, spiritual levels, in 2026 and into the future.

With all of the deeply seeded corruptions and inversions in institutions that proclaim to be a “house of God”, we feel the desire to create our own “teach an phobail”, the people’s house, where we can gather as equals and explore the Christian story. I feel that the greatest victory of the corrupt institutions would be to rob us of a true Christianity. As Moriarty felt, it is a truly epic, initiatory, passionate path of the heart, but unsurprisingly so many of us are in a sort of hangover state from the repression and corruption that we associate with how the church has strangled it for its own ends. I feel it unwise to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

“Bright Angel Trail is our space journey to Earth. It is a journey in three phases: ‘Gethsemane, Golgotha, Garden of the Sepulchre. The Triduum Sacrum is the only space journey worth embarking on” - John Moriarty

Through traditional song, poetry, ceremony, ritual, the elements, the Irish language, Nóirín and I will be holding space for us to journey from the descent of Good Friday, through the spiritual fires of Pentecost, through the Assumption of Mary, through Samhain, to the winter solstice and the birth of the light at Christmas and back again to the descent of Aoine an Chéasta.

We begin on April 3rd, Good Friday, 2026 at Jim of the Mills.

Tickets for the ceremony are through evetbrite which is linked in my page and you can also reach out to me directly. We also have a pdf for those who would like more info - it’s also in the bio.

We look forward to embarking on this wild and mystical ride with you 💫🌙✨ by @noirininterfaith
