Light leaks from the #RB67 but it’s nice to get her out. Images are from the last 3 months because it took me THAT LONG to finish the roll good god. #mamiya #shootfilm #stayfilmshootbroke by @nomadic_sammatic
House on 5th street that always catches my eye but with a gnarly light leak. All images taken by the #leicam5 Fields of mustard, caught in gold. The accessible walkway to the beach. Clam Beach was MY beach when I was a kid, it makes me happy to know it’s becoming more accessible for everyone!! Lotsa pics of this church, always in my mind. My therapist recommended I write a letter to my mother before I got married to Ryan. She said that the grief of my mom not being there was interfering with my ability to let go and just enjoy the experience of getting married. Three months after she told me to do this, I finally did it. Initially, I thought that fire was the way that this letter would be consumed by the elements, but I realized that the ocean was a much more gentle hand to take hold of this letter and give it to my mom. I cried on Clam Beach, nestled in the fog, alone with the ocean and the salt of my own tears. This is the beach that she and I always used to go to, and it was where I felt her the most. The letter was slowly taken by the sea, until I could not see it in the froth anymore, and knew that it had been delivered to its intended recipient. This roll of Film in particular had quite a few light leaks in it, which was unusual for my M5. Looking at this image in particular, you can see that the half that has the letter is a lighter color than the half that does not have the letter. I don’t mean to make Film too woo woo, but that is rather poetic. 🩷 BRILLAN dem eyes! Some of my favorite people are also some of the fastest. 🩷 Love you Horse! 🩷 More favorite people. Been trying to drum up creativity and been inspired by people’s path in my life. I’m so grateful and lucky to be surrounded by artists and people who are motivated contemplaters. 💗✨ I hope to be creating more soon myself. This idea came about with my own feelings of having two very distinct parts of myself (wolf: justice and sovereignty) and deer: (nurturing and compassion) be a bit of a metaphor for self discovery and recognizing peoples goodness and preciousness. The community I have in Ferndale is so unique and special to me. I’m grateful for it every day. 💞 made with in-shot The words are my own. #self #createdtocreate #woowoo by @nomadic_sammatic
