Have you heard about the internships we offer? Are you almost done your dive certification journey? Half way through, or maybe even just a beginner?
Here at nomads we offer Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue, and Dive Master certifications through our internships programs - which also give you a peek into a conservation project, which the founder of the project just so happens to be our top instructor!
Not only that, but if it’s been a while since you last dove, you can also take a refresher with us before getting back into it.

A beautiful reef manta, Mobula alfredi, cruising past at the famous Manta Point dive site here in Nusa Penida 💙
.
Did you know that these gentle giants are listed as vulnerable by the IUCN?
.
These beautiful creatures can grow up to 450cm from wingtip to wingtip, can weigh up to 700kg, and have a lifespan of at least 40 years.
.
Many of the mantas we encounter may just be older than the divers watching them! yipppeeee!!

Manta fly by

💙

During my trip with @nomadsbali in September was my first time ever seeing mantas, specifically reef manta rays. They’re elegant, stealthy and massive creatures, appearing from the blue like alien underwater airplanes. Can’t wait to spend more time in the water with these giants, next on the list is the even bigger oceanic manta rays 💙

The clown trigger fish, such a cool pattern, and way nice than its cousin titan, lol.

Giant green moray eel peeping out from her coral garden. Swipe for the full photo 🪸

Always love seeing eels during a dive. Freaky little creatures but beautiful in their own way

This was taken during a pretty fast drift dive on the north coast of Nusa Penida, needless to say I’m very happy I bumped my shutter speed up beforehand lol

black manta 🖤

believe it or not, but this manta is actually this dark. caused by melanism, an increase in darker pigments resulting in a darker coloured, or in this case almost completely black individual
