📍 Mokai, Bandra

Definitely worth the type - the food is stellar.

Fav item was their truffle mushroom toast! Have heard even matcha haters love their drinks so I ordered a dirty matcha (and tasted a bunch of others) but didn’t do it for me!

Need to revisit for lunch- their menu looks fab by @nomnom.trish

📍 The Atrium, Kolkata

One of my favourite breakfast experiences in a while!

They had a potato festival menu going on and I had the baked stuffed sweet potato and potato churros from that menu. Both were 10/10 and also so beautifully presented!

Edamame and avocado bagels were also so delish, again 10/10. Coffees were nice too!

Didn’t like the cheese hash brown toast, and service was a bit unorganised / slow but that’s about it. Beautiful airy place, lovely for breakfast / brunch.

9/10 experience :) by @nomnom.trish

📍Siciliana, Phoenix Palladium, Mumbai

What I had:

- Asparagus and edamame caramelle - handmade pasta in a butter sage sauce. Pasta was grossly undercooked (esp the sides) which really took away from the experience. Filling was not bad and sauce was delish but overall experience was a 5.5/10

- Truffle Parmesan Grougers - baked cheese balls with truffle; this was quite good, melt in the mouth cheese with truffle flavour throughout - 7.5/10

- red hot picante pizza - there’s a reason you’ve never seen avocado on pizza - don’t add it! Crust was great but pizza sauce, toppings, combination did not go together. 3.5/10

Also had a few mocktails — toooo sweet so didn’t enjoy at all. Overall 4/10 experience by @nomnom.trish

Reactivating the food blog to post the best pizza I had in cal at Olio & sale! Sicilian chef who’s moved to Calcutta recently and made our pizza himself!

The pesto pizza was his recommendation for me and was out of the world good! PLEASE VISIT @olioesalekolkata by @nomnom.trish

Last one for today: Mag st. turnip cake is the best one you’ll eat!! Pho was also good but just toooooo many veggies even for someone who loves them. 🥗 by @nomnom.trish

Forever favourite, forever favourite, forever favourite!! No other than 📍Boojee

Their chilli cheese and mushroom toasts are to die for. Eggs are perfect; coffees are incredible; and the chocolate bombollini!! Everything is yum. Can never get enough ❤️😭

Pizza was great for the price but not a top recommendation for sure

Please have the pull apart garlic bread tho — yummiest in town by @nomnom.trish

📍 Nandan Coffee, Fort

Loved this place!

The coffee is obviously so good

I didn’t want to order the mango granola bowl but it’s the best breakfast food item I’ve ever eaten EVER 10/10
The orange Bundt cake was YUM. 10/10
Toast (Greek yogurt etc) was not good tho; too soggy, not flavourful. 2/10

Would def revisit by @nomnom.trish

Almost a full year of no posts — let’s restart!

Pomodoro - TLDR: great but overhyped

If you do end up stopping by only have the mushroom tortellinis and the pomodoro! Nothing else is too great
