honestly mindblown by the spanish cuisine served here. had a special dinner at @foc_restaurant back in september and i daresay that the restaurant quality & ambience was just so memorable. + props to the amazing staff who helped us take pics to remember the occasion! swipe to see my in depth reviews + yes a SOLID 5 OUT OF 5 STARS 🌟to this restaurant 📩 would be so back for future meals. #spanishcuisine #paellalovers #singaporebar #nightoutsg #spanishfoodie Foie Gras Terrine & Ahrenka Caviar in Crispy Phyllo this was crazy exquisite - check out the gold flake on top - but also wow the creamiest combo ever. the foie gras was amazingly creamy, rich, sweet & the pairing of it with the paper thin phyllo pastry was just sublime. Autumn Bliss Bourbon with apple pie syrup & lemon was mixed for a pretty simple & satisfying cocktail concoction but wow, foc really did not skimp on the alcohol because it really packed a punch. would love to try their endless list of cocktails but this one paired amazingly with the seafood imo Seafood Senyoret Paella whats spanish food without the signature paella? This beast of a pan consisted of carabinero red prawns, hokkaido scallops & squids. As a scallop lover omg i was totally in love with the softness and sweetness of their scallops - freshness of the seafood was defo there! If i had to critique something it’d be that i wish there were more prawns because tell me why they totally disappeared from my plate in like a second. the rice texture & flavours were spot on for this too. King Prawns ‘al Ajillo’ yes the paella had prawns but yes we are seafood lovers so why not prawns for the side too! and this turned out to be a worthwhile decision because the sauce here was SOOO good. they had a rich garlic sauce & white bean emulsion that paired so well with both prawns & toast. and of course all the prawns were succulent and so juicy (now im missing them oh no) Charcoal-grilled Iberico Pork Presa ok guys hear me out: the aubergine was the star here. That dome had like the best ever tasting aubergine i had in my life…. only they know what they seasoned in there (probably the parmesan) but trust me the pork was a co-star in this by @nomsandsnaps

when i first heard of @pizza4ps , i was confused why people would flock to vietnam for PIZZA? but their seafood & four cheese pizzas successfully persuaded me 🙂‍↕️🍕 a lookback at my very first dinner on day 1 in danang, vietnam 🇻🇳 everything tasted really good & the service was soo good, they were really efficient & helped us take pics & all. the wait for danang’s outlet wasnt too bad! all in all, their pizza was the star🌟 here. the famous crab pasta was a nice item but it did feel slightly overhyped as it tasted quite normal. their tiramisu was unfortunately a pass for me as it just tasted creamy and sweet. 📍@pizza4ps, danang ⭐️nom factor: 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 would i be back? absolutely. p.s. you know the food is good when you order it for Grabfood to ur hotel again after 2 days 😅🤭 #pizza4ps #danangtrip #pizzafood #vietnamfood #traveleats by @nomsandsnaps
this gelato spot NOW SERVES BRUNCHES & MAINS?? 📍patisserie woo, bukit timah ⭐️nom factor: 🌟🌟🌟.5/5 their pistachio gelato was THE BEST i ever had in sg (not kidding) and i’d defo recommend their lasagna altho the portion can be larger :”) for the wagyu sandwich, the meat was sooo juicy but the bread was kinda hard and small in serving portion. drinks wise all were really refreshing!! we all liked the ice berries tea the most 🫶 <invite> #gelatosg #foodiesg #foodiesofinsta #cafehopping #wagyubeef exploresg sggelato pistachio halibut wagyubeefsando beefsandwich lasagna cheesepull sgcafes wheretoeat bukit timah sgfoodies weekendcafehop weekendfoodguide vlogsg foodreels explorefoodsg placestogo newcafe by @nomsandsnaps
i went to this cafe with pretty high expectations but sadly…. it was not up to standard this time 😅 📍oh wunder cafe ⭐️nom factor: ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 im sure everyone knows that their sheep matcha got really viral online and so, i always wanted to try their food ever since! for the good part, they are cdc friendly + no gst and service charge, which is honestly very attractive~ however, i did feel that the food items were overhyped online. with the exception of the sheep matcha (which was really good albeit at a pretty steep price of $8.50), everything else was quite mediocre and slightly on the pricier side. especially the salmon which was quite fishy and that really made the dish not as palatable to me :( for the strawberry matcha, the matcha was really light too 😭 im not sure why because the matcha cloud seems to be the same as what they used for the sheep matcha, but one possible reason could be that the strawb one had ice cubes, while the sheep matcha was made with chilled milk. i would definitely still recommend people to head down & support their cozy space, but get their original matcha and other drinks instead ✨ by @nomsandsnaps
when i want a cozy lunch date 📆 🥘 📍@cafeyasuragi, millenia walk ⭐️nom factor: 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 had dinner at this gorgeous japanese inspired cafe recently, and really loved the refined decor there. food were served fast & the standouts were defo the black angus striploin donburi, which had really tender steak, & the mentaiko nori fries, which stayed crisp throughout the meal. dishes we had: ✨black angus striploin donburi ($22.80) ✨yuzu kosho chicken steak ($15.80) ✨mentaiko nori fries ($8.90) ✨ham & cheese sourdough toastie ($8.80) ✨kingyo cloud ($7.90) <invite> [tags: japanese food, millenia walk, cafes sg, sgcafehopping, donburi bowls, steak sirloin, fries lovee, toast sandwich, chicken chop, western food, fusion cuisine, central sg, where to eat sg, japan cafe, affordable cafe sg] by @nomsandsnaps
literally playing with my food at this modern chinese bistro in suntec 📍@fuyan.suntec ⭐️nom factor: 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 loved the wide selections of chinese cuisine here, which is amazing for gatherings & after-work dinners! their eight blessings menu was so fun to experience, bringing both interactive fun elements to “play” to get your food, while donating 10% to charity. my fav is the kombuchas (super refreshing!) and the dongpo pork, which was so rich in flavour and tender! definitely pretty authentic chinese cuisine that rivals other chinese restaurants in suntec ‼️they also have lunch sets starting from $6.90 sooo go check them out for your lunch too! <invite> #dongpopork #suntecfood #suntec #bistrosg #wheretoeat by @nomsandsnaps
are you team herbal or peppery bak kut teh?? 🇲🇾😋 this bkt stall sells herbal klang bak kut teh that comes in SOO many forms! i really liked the dry bak kut teh thet came coated in dark soya sauce and lots of meat. their soup versions were really comforting too and not too salty, so its perfect for a rainy day. also take this opportunity to get their side dishes like youtiao, taopok & peanuts for JUST $0.50 with any bkt purchase! honestly what a steal💯 📍@hokeebkt.sg (chinatown & sengkang) ⭐️nom factor: 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 <invite> [tags: bak kut teh, pork belly, pig trotter, sg food, foodie sg, explore chinatown sg, chinatown food, klang bak kut teh, herbal soup, where to eat, dinner spots, supper sg, supper meal, chinese cuisine, malaysian food] by @nomsandsnaps
had the best brunch at @kobashi_sg the other day 🥐 🍵 🍝 with so many options in their coffeehouse menu, we were simply spoiled for choice there & safe to say that the space was both aesthetic & tastefully decorated! swipe to read more about each item >>> 📍@kobashi_sg ⭐️nom factor: 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5/5 thanks kenji & team for the warm hospitality 💌 #coffeehouse #matchastrawberry #brunchsg #sgcafefood #blacksesamelatte a little fun fact about the name that i saw on the internet! thought it was really apt and spoke true about the brand the mains & starters: the spread: one of my FAVOURITE matcha strawberries in singapore and i mean it! their strawberry jam is thick, has strawberry chunks, right amt of sweet & sour, and it paired so well with the smooth bitter matcha. many cafes i’ve been to claim to use strawberry jam but the consistency turns out more like syrup… kobashi’s one really hit the spot for me black sesame hojicha was quite a unique drink - im a hojicha lover due to the roasted flavours and it paired decently with black sesame but i did find the hojicha slightly overpowered by the black sesame. consistency wise it was rich & not too sweet once again. worth a try if ur a black sesame latte fan! cheese pull 🧀 i was thoroughly impressed with their fries because we spent time taking photos & eating & yapping yet they stayed crisp and light throughout (mcd pls take notes!) we love a good french fry sourdough was a bit on the tougher side but chewy & paired well with the grilled cheese. makes a decent brunch item! this bangin’ mash was goood. their mash was so smooth & buttery, plus the sauce just paired everything together wonderfully. sausages were great but a lilll salty. this one took the limelight for me. you HAVE to get their seafood option because the tiger prawn & squid were super super juicy and fresh. loved the abundance of sauce coating all the pasta and everything just worked really well together. where’s kobashi without donuts!? super refreshing & fragrant, cream inside was bursting, yuzu flavour was stronggg & loved how soft yet airy the donut was this one was my fav! the filling really tasted like a ferrero rocher - choc by @nomsandsnaps
@noor.singapore knows how to have fun 🤩 our visit to this mediterranean x japanese bar was nothing short of fun & wonder. they were absolutely PACKED on a friday night & the atmosphere was loud, bold & full of excitement. it’s definitely a place to hang with your friend group because of how fun the crowd there was. p.s. at 8.30pm, the entire restaurant livens up into a semi-club-like environment, with free sparklers(!!), shaker drums and music to start the night going. trust me, it’s THE bar to go if you want ambience and a good time 🤪 swipe to see what we got (⭐️=recommended by me!) 📍@noor.singapore ⭐️nom factor: 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 <invite> #meditteranean #funbar #nightsout #cocktailsg #hummuslover JASMINE | 23SGD ⭐️ LAMB HUMMUS | 32 SGD ⭐️ LABNEH CHEESECAKE | 18SGD SHORT RIB WAGYU | 48SGD ⭐️ WOKKA | 24SGD MISO BUTTER FISH | 42 SGD SAKE SASHIMI | 24 SGD by @nomsandsnaps
