Which segment was your favorite from Oui Dawgy?

Let me know in the poll! by @norde.creative

“Oui Dawgy” - a short mountain bike film documenting the whimsical journey of a group of friends riding through Northern Maine and Quebec.

Big screen viewing accessed via the link in the story and bio.🤘 by @norde.creative

Look out! “Oui Dawgy” is dropping tomorrow.

Filmed over a long weekend in Quebec, and featuring riding in Greenville, ME, Vallée Bras Du Nord, and Sentiers Du Moulin, this project was all about highlighting the goofy spirit that mountain bikes bring out in this awesome group of friends.

Stay tuned for the full film tomorrow! by @norde.creative

“The Island” is the culmination of three days of filming in total presence on a remote island surrounded by close family.

With nothing to do but immerse ourselves in books, swim, paddle, and explore the woods, the urge to create was at its peak. My only goal for this piece was to capture the essence of that serene quiet we all are capable of experiencing when surrounded by loved ones in nature.

The storm documented in the middle of this piece obviously did actually happen, but the emphasis it received in this short was an intentional interruption to the calm serenity conveyed in the opening and closing scenes. An interruption that has an important and deeper meaning.

As one begins to return to a state of presence, often our minds will continue to cling to the past and future, creating interruptions to the calm stillness within. As this piece attempts to communicate that deep feeling of presence, I thought it was critical to find a way to communicate that experience many of us undergo at the start of an immersion such as this. It takes time to fully sink into the present moment. Often our minds create little storms that pull us out of the present, and that’s ultimately what this scene represents.

As we enter a beautiful holiday weekend here in Maine, may you all remember to find stillness and serenity in the outdoors. Each time your thoughts pull you away, know you’re just one breath away from letting it all go.

That is what this short piece is all about.

Love you all.

Thanks for watching.

“The Island” will be available in its entirety this afternoon. For now, here’s another short preview. What do you think that walkie talkie is all about?

Don’t answer that. Just come back around 5pm and you’ll see for yourself.

This has been fun.

Talk soon.

Bye. 👋 by @norde.creative

New short dropping tomorrow.

“The Island” was shot over a three day camping trip on a remote freshwater island in Maine and will take you on a short journey towards feelings of relaxation, inspiration, and peace.

See ya tomorrow.

Bye for now.

Huge shoutout to @jesselafo for capturing buttery magic on the 85mm and putting his local bird knowledge to use to make a tastefully intricate sound mix on this recent project. 🧈 🎶 🐦 🚲 👌
