✈️❤️👶👦🧳🧳 HOW WE TRAVEL CARRY-ON ONLY WITH 2 KIDS: 3.5 years ago we stopped checking-in luggage. Ever. Even when we travel for multiple weeks at a time over spring, winter, and summer breaks, we still never check-in luggage.

➡️ Swipe for the answers to the 5 questions we get all the time about being #teamcarryon every time.

🛞🧳 HOW DO YOU CARRY EVERYTHING THROUGH THE AIRPORT? We lean heavily into choosing the optimal family travel gear so that we can *consolidate everything* into a streamlined set-up. We want to cruise through the airport, not schlep through it. For our family of four (2x adults + 2 kids) this means: 2x Rollaway carry-on rollers with 2x Hideaway carry-on duffels stacked neatly on top (s/o to luggage pass-throughs)! Our 2x travel car seats (the WayB Pico portable car seat + Clek Ozzi booster seat) securely attach to our 2x Rollaway’s NRC SeatLatch™ car seat anchor points or the retractable handle.

One parent is able to independently move all 4x carry-ons and 2x travel car seats, while the other is free to push our travel stroller + ride-along attachment to hopefully keep the kids consolidated in one spot too 😅.

We stuff 1x collapsable stroller bag + 1x collapsible travel car seat bag (holds both car seats) under our stroller until we use them at gate-check. They’re also great for stuffing extra jackets.

👖👕 WHAT DO YOU PACK? We pack around 5 to 7 days of mix & match outfits for every member of the family, with more outfits for the kids. For a child, this generally translates into ~7 tops, ~7 bottoms, 2-3 layers, 2-3 pajamas, socks, and underwear or 1.5 days of diapers if applicable. Bedtime essentials such as comfort objects (e.g. loveys), a travel sound machine, and a baby monitor are also a must.

Each member of our family has their own carry-on — either a Rollaway carry-on roller or a Hideaway carry-on duffel — that each has an all-in-one removable packing organizer that acts a portable dresser throughout the trip. Because everyone’s belongings stay organized, visible, and accessible inside the Rollaway and the Hideaway, we by @noreceptionclub

🛞📝 Designing the Rollaway was the toughest secret we’ve kept over the last 2+ years. And honestly, there were many low points throughout the process where we thought about giving up. But, we kept on believing we were onto something — and pushed through hurdle after hurdle.

❤️ THANK YOU to all our early believers who chose to support our @kickstarter campaign. Your support proves to us it was worth the wait.

A week of toddler clothes… carry-ons only 👀✈️

One bag for each toddler and somehow EVERYTHING fit 😂
Packing for two little humans is basically a game of Tetris 🤭

Comment TRAVEL and I’ll send you the travel bags we use + love 🤍

⬇️ Comment “Preview” to get an early 👀 sneak peek 👀 of our Kickstarter video with all the deets about our newest product: the Rollaway carry-on roller — launching in less than a week on Tuesday, September 15!

🎥 In the Kickstarter video we walk through every detail + feature of the Rollaway. We know this will answer many FAQs you might have leading up to Sept 15.

And for the third time in a row, our whole family was on-set 😅 to introduce our newest product in our Kickstarter video.

P.S. we know that as usual we’re late to the trend #netflixdocumentary … but after seeing our Kickstarter video bloopers reel, we couldn’t help ourselves 😂 by @noreceptionclub

A few frames from a weekend I really didn’t want to rush.

Coffee outside, salty air, the dog doing his own thing, Lou exploring everything around her… just being together without much of a plan.

I think that’s what I want more of these days. More time slowing down and actually being there for the little moments, and less time packing, unpacking, looking for things, and wondering where I put the snacks.

Having a baby has definitely made getting out the door more complicated, but it hasn’t made me want to stay home. If anything, it’s made me care even more about making the effort to go.

And I’ve been really loving our @noreceptionclub bags for that part. The shelves, compartments and Sidekick mean everything has a place, so once we’re there, I can spend less time digging through bags and more time doing what we came for.

More memories, less searching for the missing sock. Basically. 🤎 by @noreceptionclub

👇 Comment “Camp” below and we’ll send you our Complete Guide to all the Summer Camps we’ve tried in Europe over the last 3 years!

🏕️This is our 3rd year of enrolling our two kids in summer camps in Europe. We started when they were 2 and 5 years old, and now they’re 4 and 7 years old. We’ve learned a lot during these summers about how to find camps, determine which country’s camps are right for you, how much each camp costs, and determine which camps work well for different ages, language abilities, and personal interests / hobbies. We’re excited to share everything we’ve learned with you in our Complete Guide.
