One of Malta’s pioneering underground metal and crossover bands, norm.rejection have made their complete recorded catalogue available digitally.

Formed in 1993 by Michael Briguglio, Sean Vukovic, Wil Pace and Jo Kerr, the band’s sound pulled together metal, thrash, sludge, hardcore, doom and punk, backed by politically charged lyrics exploring rebellion, liberation, resistance and social change.

The catalogue spans over two decades, from Subtly Mesmerized? (1994), through Deconform (1998), 0002 (2000), Belligerent (2011) and The Radical Underground (2014).

It also features the contributions of the late Andrew Martin and Rex Grech Santucci, while tracks like “Malta Not For Sale”, “Blaster” and “Kemm Hawn Dwejjaq fil-Pajjiż” remain fan favourites.

Now, in 2026, the original line-up are back working on new material.

Norm Rejection return to the stage — Saturday 30 January 2027 at The Garage.
