Wild & free like these majestic pygmy blue whales 🐳 💙 🌊

Blue whales are the largest mammals that have ever existed on our earth. They are known for their migration across oceans, blows on the water surfaces, and mysterious sounds.
It was so exciting to observe the whales regularly appearing at the water’s surface to breathe while making powerful spout blows.

🐋 Tips for whales spotting (from shore):

➡️ Do your research and/or talk to locals to find the best land- based spot for whale watching. Find out where the best spot for the season is and at what time of the day it is most likely to spot them.

➡️ Look out and pay attention. You're more likely to see these giants when the water is calm.

➡️ Look for whale spout blows above the water surface. You might also spot dorsal fins and tail flukes. And some whales shoot themselves out of the water. This can be seen and heard from large distances.

➡️ Have fun and don't be upset if you didn't spot any. With a little bit of adaption - maybe other time of the day or a close by spot - you might be lucky at the next attempt.
Have you ever spotted whales from shore?

➡️ Listen to the local drone flying rules!!!!

Have you ever seen an ice explosion? 😱🤯

This must hands down be the cooles shot I have created so far using my @gopro hero 11. The 240FPS setting comes in handy and allows for this amazing slow motion capture of water turning into ice in a split second. I just love how it turned out and I was able to capture it in the middle of Boston. -24°C was very cold but worth it!

Only try this with enough distance to other people as you have to use boiling water which can cause skin damage!!

Embracing the magic of first times in a new city 🌉

Settling into SF has been good so far, and spending an evening by the fire at Ocean Beach was the perfect way to soak up our new backyard. We got so lucky and made it out for a bonfire during the very last days they were still permitted! Still exploring, still wandering, and just loving the moment 🌊🔥🌅

PSA: Fire season at Ocean Beach is now over until next year! 🙅‍♀️🪵

Trading the crisp Boston chill for the coastal fog of the Sunset District totally shifts the spooky season vibe. We spent the evening strolling through the neighborhood, officially on the hunt for the most over-the-top haunted houses, and the local setups did not disappoint. It turns out West Coast Halloween brings its own kind of magic, with giant yard skeletons looking perfectly eerie against the San Francisco twilight.

This first Halloween out here is proving to be the best way to really get to know our new streets. The East Coast autumns will always be classic, but uncovering these local haunts is making this new chapter pretty spectacular. 🎃👻🌉

The horizon isn’t a boundary...
...it’s an invitation to see how far you can fly 🕊️

Watching planes take off is a physical reminder that we are built for movement, adaptation, and change. Sometimes the most terrifying leaps of faith lead us to the most breathtaking destinations. Here’s to believing in the journey, even when you can’t see the final landing spot yet ✈️⛅🧭 by @northland.eric

The future of airport fuel is here 🤖☕️

Spotting this robotic coffee barista at @flylogan completely changed the pre-flight game. It’s honestly fascinating just watching the robot arm serve up drinks. Rushing to catch a flight and grabbing your caffeine definitely looks a lot different than it used to.
Still, it makes you see your coffee in a whole new light. The seamless tech is super impressive for a quick travel hack, but it definitely lacks that cozy vibe, artistry, and human connection you get from a real local café. It’s wild to think this might be how we grab our daily fuel from now on.

Would you trust a robot with your coffee, or are you staying team human? Let us know your thoughts below! 💭

12 courses, 1 hidden door @sushibybou_ inside Bosque Flowers & Coffee is an absolute vibe. Having such an intimate experience with the chef made it so special. Every single piece was flawless. Saved this for your next NYC date night! 🥂
