Legg ek niðr vápn mín.
I lay down my weapons.

As some of you have probably noticed, I’ve not been very active recently. In part due to my occupation, working oversea’s in remote parts of the world with extremely limited wifi, for weeks /months at a time.

In addition to this, my wife and I are expecting our first baby in just over a week! (Possibly sooner, baby determining this).

Another factor, determining this decision is our 3yr old corso whose health has taken a turn and is needing more care and veterinarian attention meaning less time also.

This decision hasn’t come lightly, but easily made. However I stand by that first and foremost family and health comes first before anything, with this in mind, the decision has been made, and I will be stepping back.

I would like to thank all of you for your support, advice, enthusiasm, enjoyment and memories in my time in the sport and wish you all the best going forwards! You have all been fantastic!

As a lot of you have pointed out to me to my appreciation, someone has cloned/faked a page of myself. Just to clarify - this is NOT me, I have one page and one page only, and definitely have no need to create another. There is obvious differences, lack of photo’s, followers, and on their behalf - intelligence evidently… please please, do not follow, or engage with this page in any way. SHARE THIS, SHARE MY STORYS AND GET THE WORD OUT SO MORE PEOPLE DONT FOLLOW OR WIRST CASE DIVULGE INFORMATION OR SEND MONEY OR WHAT EVER TO THIS FAKE.

Thank you all,

The @doubletap_sct out of the box review.

Upon opening the box, I was greeted with everything individually wrapped, stacked and neatly packed.

The second picture shows everything included in the box, poles, fittings, ground pegs, mesh cover, spare mesh sheet, instructions, carry bag, sticker and a wristband.

As per photo number 3, as you can see everything is numbered, making for easy assembly. I had this put together by myself in literally minutes, not even 5 I’d say. Instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Recording the durability of this target system, using abbey predator red gas, on my WE MSK ACR, shooting .32g bio bb’s (no hate - all I had to hand due to being like a kid in a candy store and wanting to play 😂) at 12°c (53°f) shooting at distance of 8m, or a little over 25ft.

No chrono available as unfortunately mine has died and awaiting a new one.

My take away from my experience with this is, it’s a fantastic bit of kit, well thought out in terms of being able to be packed and stored or easily transported, able to be used in a multiple of scenarios and ultimately for where I live, whether it’s 6ft deep with snow, or water falls from the sky like the skógafoss waterfall of Iceland, I can use it inside without the fear of accidentally doing damage.

All in all excellent bit of kit, highly recommend, the question the remains, are you getting one?! by @northmanairsoft
