My time and the distance might just be a footnote in this incredible trail running world - but for me, this finish means so much and I couldn’t be happier.

MIUT - Madeira Island Ultra Trail. 🇵🇹
40k. ~1500vm. Sub 5h. 12th rank age group.
Fantastic landscape, muddy single trails, couple of cramps & uncountable stairs.

Traumtagerl! 🏔️☀️❄️🇦🇹
Mit @carmipanda und @phys_man die beste Zeit gehabt, nachdem wir den Strecken-Check in Innsbruck verschieben mussten.
Reicht dann aber trotzdem auch mit dem Schnee…

[Mountainman Reit in Winkl, 43km, 1300vm]
When you sign up for a winter trail, there’s one thing you can’t complain about: snow and ice.
Still, it just wasn’t my day. Low energy, little power… my trail vest tore, I kept losing my flask, and I apparently can’t even put my spikes on properly. A lot of things came together.
Not really happy with the result. Now focus on consistant training.
Maybe my expectations of myself have become a bit too high.

Got the chance to dive into an alternative sport through my lens at @athx_games and follow the incredible team @philippa.vb & @inesamey.
Massive respect for what they’re capable of — straight-up machines. Super strong, enduring women. 💪
