Season of misery has begun. by @not.so.fineart

The worms in my brain told me the painting needed to be fixed. What do you think? First picture is now, second is before. Oil on canvas.

Paint with me! I still experimenting with my style but god do I love painting twisted mossy trees, that’s definitely my favorite scene. Let me know what you think! Oil on canvas, 50x60

Since I started this painting I cannot look at any tree without seeing it as strokes of paint on canvas, imagining how I’ll capture it, trying to memorize the way light dances on its branches and across its trunk. Been dreaming of powerful, regal trees like this one my whole life now I have intense vivid dreams about painting them. This is going to have to be a series or I’ll lose it. Oil on canvas. 60x90

PS: did you spot the heart in her sister painting? Where is now?

Progress on my WIP! Finally got the time to work on this again, it seems like ages ago haha but I hardly get time during the week because I work 9-5 (plus a two hour commute :(. So it seems I can only paint on the weekends when I aren’t running erands. Welp.

Today’s WIP, hope I don’t screw this one up!

Might as well call this one cadmium red because it sure ate up a whole lot of it! Expensive little thing haha. Definitely not because I kept wiping it off and redoing it. That’s surely not something I would do 🫣

Another sea scape! Oil on canvas. Not sure if it’s done or if it needs another go. What do you think? I don’t know why but it’s so hard to capture the sea, it always looks like amateur hour haha.
