How Nota started…But, also, how did the AI craze start? It started with us people and we are what matters. For now AI is just along for the ride. CSS

Our very nature is to create, procreate, proliferate with boundless ideas and dreams.

That why Nota is also for Apple Watch. Not to mention desktop and iPad. So go ahead…download it.

Your notes just got a Moonshot.

Moonshot AI’s new Kimi model is challenging some of the biggest names in artificial intelligence.

And Kimi is already available inside Nota.

Nota Premium users can choose Kimi to rewrite, expand, summarize, organize, and develop the ideas inside their notes, without leaving their workspace.

The AI landscape keeps changing. Nota gives you the freedom to choose the intelligence that works best for you.

Catch thoughts. Shape ideas.

Unexpected use case for @noteswithnota — I met many people this past week in Kyoto at @ivs_japan (thanks @whiplus 😘). By using the app’s OCR, I would scan each person’s business card instantly grabbing all the text, directly imported into a note. Then, so I don’t forget anything about our discussion, I instantly started voice recording everything I could recall from the conversation. Nota transcribes everything and later I can listen to the recording if necessary. Game changer during business networking events. Wow. Who knew? Try it out at nota.talk/free by @noteswithnota

Stop settling for clunky apps. Nota lets your notes start in your voice. Grab text with OCR, sketch out your ideas, and summon the best AI models whenever you need a heavy lifter. Designed to work the way you think, so you can capture ideas anytime—even from your watch.
Don’t ignore the signs. Take better notes with Nota. 🚀

Twenty-nine iterations later, Apple finally approved Nota 1.2.29. It’s hard to describe how much work went into getting from version 1.1 to where the app is today. Many sleepless nights and more App Store rejections than I’d care to admit. 😂 But that’s part and parcel in building software.

Version 1.2 feels like a completely different product than the one I launched. That’s how much better it is! However the goal has always been the same…your ideas come first. AI shouldn’t replace your thinking, it should amplify it. It should help you explore ideas faster while keeping you firmly in control.

One thing I’m particularly proud of is bringing multiple AI models together into one experience. Instead of locking people into a single provider, Nota lets you work with ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Kimi, DeepSeek, and others, all inside the same workspace under a single subscription.

And Nota Assist, our own native AI Agent. More content later about that to come. Download the app to find out!

To everyone who’s downloaded Nota, subscribed, shared feedback, reported bugs, or simply believed in what I’m building, thank you. Every version gets us a little closer to the product I’ve imagined from the beginning.

We’re just getting started.

Your best ideas rarely arrive fully formed.

They show up as voice notes, half sentences, drawings, scans, fragments, and thoughts you might lose if the app gets in the way.

Nota was built for that moment.

Capture the thought first.
Then let Nota Assist help structure it into something clear, useful, and ready to act on.

Speak. Type. Draw. Scan.
Rewrite. Summarize. Organize. Share.

Capture first. Structure second.

There’s AI inside your notes, but not in your face 🤦🏽 That is where most note apps get this wrong. All we hear online is “Agentic, agents, agent!” Calm down, guys. We get it. 🙄 So,...

“Nota AI Notes” (the best way to search for it on the App Store)
...allows you to use AI as a sidekick to your thinking or writing process.

Nota lets you choose which model you like the most, and use that one for whatever you need it to do.

The best way to use AI inside of Nota is to highlight (select) any sentence or paragraph or section of your note, then tap the “Edit ✨” option (right next to cut copy and paste) which shows you the AI panel with tons of useful feature.

Download it and try it for yourself. It’s free to start you cheapos.

Besides, where else can you get access to ALL the AI models for only $7.99 per month or $69.99 per year?
