THANK YOU, @slugmag and @stoddard.photography!!

Artist goal achieved! Right in time for Trans Week of Remembrance, I was featured in SLUG'S November issue of Bold and Beautiful 🥰

I've wanted to be in SLUG for a long time ❤️ As a teenager, I would pick up a copy of SLUG from our rural Smith's two towns over to look up upcoming concerts. I loved reading about artists and things going on in the 'big city' of Salt Lake (any city feels big when your hometown has a population of <1000). It's surreal to now be a part of it.

But can you believe these photos?? My lanta. Thank you, @stoddard.photography, for making me feel seen and empowered. These pictures are priceless to me. Thank you, Sofia, for an awesome interview. It was cathartic to be able to talk about my journey so far as a fat trans non-binary drag king. Even though I just do my silly little thing on stage, I feel like the important part of my art is giving visibility to non-traditional masculinity. It helps EVERYONE to unlearn gender roles. We are all conditioned to have random sexist expectations for ourselves and each other, and then we're not given tools to learn how to navigate those missed assignments. This hits hard on relationships and even day-to-day interactions. The best thing we can do is stop playing the game and accept people as they are.

Thanks for reading, y'all ❤️

Alright this look is in my favorites now. I've been wanting to do horns on my bald sides for a while. Thank Satan, it went so well. Hopefully I remember to post video of the show.

The performance where I ate my nipples.

And thats on 31 years of fkn around by @notta_genda

We really did accidentally plan a Dolly Parton drag show happening the day after she passed 💙 The queens in the cast were love-fighting over Dolly songs weeks ago. It was so surreal to get this news together. So we're tweaking this month's Hoe Down show to an unofficial Dolly Parton show (with some hoe still).

I'm extremely excited to have @thegoodladydy host our show and community in remembrance and celebration! This is a sneak peek of the stage, she made the lovely backdrop! I hope you'll join us 💕
