AD 🧟‍♂️ NOTTINGHAM HAS JUST OPENED A REAL-LIFE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE… AND IT WAS INSANE. We were lucky enough to experience @zombiecheckpoint on OPENING DAY and we were the THIRD GROUP OF PEOPLE TO EVER GO IN! 🔥 I would genuinely pay to do this all over again. It was THAT good. Think Call of Duty meets Resident Evil, but you’re actually IN the game. 🔫 🧪 Start in the laboratory and uncover the story 🔫 Gear up in the armoury with your railgun 🧟‍♂️ Enter a 5,000 sq ft immersive horror maze 🎯 Fight off the infected and complete your missions 😱 Live actors, insane effects and surprises around every corner This is SO much more than laser tag. The whole experience is immersive from start to finish, and we came out absolutely BUZZING. 💷 Sessions last 60 minutes, with prices starting from £16 👾 Family sessions available for ages 10–16, plus other packages for over-16s and over-18s 🅿️ FREE parking 📍 Nottingham 📅 OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND so you don’t have to wait until Halloween! Whether it’s date night, a day out with your mates or something completely different to try, this one needs to be on your list. WHO in your friendship group is getting sacrificed to the zombies first as @hardysathome absolutely was willing to sacrifice me😂 Tag them below! Save this for your next Nottingham adventure and follow @NottsYourMama for more things to do around Nottinghamshire and beyond! 🖤 #Nottingham #Nottinghamshire #ZombieCheckpoint #ThingsToDoInNottingham #NottinghamDaysOut by @nottsyourmama
🎆 3 THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE VISITING MATLOCK ILLUMINATIONS WITH A TODDLER 👀✨ Planning a visit with little ones? SAVE THIS because these 3 things would’ve made our evening even easier! 👇🏼 🚍 1. DON’T STRESS ABOUT PARKING! The park & ride at cromford meadows was SO easy with a pushchair 🙌🏼 You can keep your little one in it or fold it down, and it’s just £2 per adult and £1 per child for a return ticket. It runs until 10pm too! Note: this only runs on saturdays (Sat Nav – DE4 3RQ / 53.110300, -1.553536) drops off near Illuminations entrance in Pavilion car Park 💷 2. TAKE CASH! We got caught out when we went to get tokens for the rides 😅 Luckily Grandma came prepared because apparently she’s the sensible one of the family 😂 🎆 3. DON’T PANIC IF IT’S BUSY! We held off going too early because of the rain, and when we arrived, the crowds were HUGE! We worried Sonny wouldn’t be able to see, but the illuminated boats go up and down several times, and the crowds move around so you get more chances to find a good viewing spot before it ends. 🫶🏻 OUR VERDICT? We found Matlock Illuminations really pushchair-friendly and toddler-friendly, and our 22-month-old had THE BEST TIME EVER 🥹✨ 💬 Have you been to Matlock Illuminations? Or is it on your autumn bucket list? 📌 SAVE this for your visit & SEND it to a parent planning a trip! Follow @NottsYourMama for honest family days out, toddler-friendly adventures and hidden gems across the Midlands 🫶🏼 #MatlockIlluminations #MatlockBath #DaysOutWithToddlers #FamilyDaysOut by @nottsyourmama
POV: this slide just reset your entire nervous system 💀⚡️ @slickcityactionpark is INSANE in the best way… but I was genuinely SCARED at the top of some of these slides 😭😱 If you’ve not been, it’s basically an indoor action park packed with huge slides, climbing zones and high energy challenges 😮‍💨✨ 📍 Slick City Action Park – Nottingham 💸 Prices: from £19.95 for 90 minutes 🧦 Grip socks required (£3 if you don’t have them) 👶 Best for ages 4+ (there’s a junior zone for younger ones, but honestly even some 4 year olds might find the big slides a bit much 😭) 🎟️ Definitely book ahead, weekends and school holidays get BUSY Full review coming tomorrow with a proper breakdown of everything 👀 by @nottsyourmama
