W + M // Barnbougle Castle 📍 This wedding brief was an absolute dream! Paired-back elegance with a touch of divine luxury—it was all about understated beauty done exceptionally well. I had so much fun curating an unforgettable celebration that perfectly blended authentic Scottish charm with a touch of modern sophistication. From the breathtaking views over the Firth of Forth to the rich, sumptuous interiors of Barnbougle Castle, every detail was designed to honor W + M’s love story in true style, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. And what a treat to team up with the amazing Sarah & Dave (@wearethe_jamess). These two have a knack for capturing the heart and soul of a celebration in the most cinematic, emotive way possible. It’s always a joy working alongside such talent! . . . #luxuryweddings #scotlandweddingplanner #destinationweddingscotland #luxuryeventdesign #weddinginspiration #scotlandweddings #intimateweddings #elopementinscotland #luxuryelopement #weddingplannerscotland #modernbride #cinematic #storytelling #styleinspiration #discoverscotland #scottishcastle #reelsvideo #newyorkbridesmag by @novuweddings

No timelines to chase, no expectations to meet, just the freedom to create, experiment and see where the ideas take us. Today at the incredible Gosford House with @modernluxeclub was all about just that. There’s something so refreshing about working alongside such talented creatives, having the space to push boundaries, play unapologetically and explore ideas without the usual pressures and constraints of a real wedding day. And that’s what makes days like this so valuable. It’s not just about creating beautiful imagery. It’s about challenging the way we think, refining our skills and bringing fresh ideas and inspiration back into real weddings, where creativity has to work alongside all the beautiful chaos of the day. A day of creative freedom, collaboration and so much inspiration. Exactly what was needed. Quietly romantic. A little haunting. Entirely their own. Allison & Brendan, captured somewhere between history and fantasy within the walls of Borthwick Castle. 🕯️ A celebration where nothing felt overly polished or prescribed, just layers of rich texture, wild florals, candlelight and a beautiful sense that everything belonged exactly where it was. Modern romance, with an old soul. A little wild. A little decadent. A little otherworldly. 🥀🕯️ For Allison & Brendan, we wanted to create something that felt a little unexpected within the ancient walls of Borthwick Castle: dark, romantic and beautifully untamed. Rich burgundy linens set the scene, layered with aged metallics, flickering candlelight and florals in deep, autumnal tones. Flowers and foliage were allowed to spill, climb and wander across the tables and floor, as though they had quite literally sprouted from the castle itself. Just an abundance of wild, overgrown beauty against centuries-old stone, intimate, atmospheric and wonderfully dramatic. The wedding day for @carolinabraedt & @javiermillership 🕊️ De Peru a Escocia - Carolina and Javier said ‘I do’ in the beautiful chapel at Cluny Castle, followed by a day of celebrations with their loved ones and one big party. The bride wore two custom wedding day looks by @leonatelier_. The first look was inspired by the groom’s grandmother’s wedding dress, lace with buttons all the way down the front, paired with a cathedral length lace veil. The second look for the party was a two piece corset and mini skirt with a tulle cape. The wedding was planned to perfection by @novuweddings with stunning florals from @fauna_flower_folk. The cake travelled all the way from Peru with @rosalyndulcefina!
