📖 Silver in the Sand

Finishing the book was the hard part.

Or at least, that’s what I thought. 😂

Silver in the Sand is my first novel. My first time taking a story that had lived in my head for years and putting it out into the world.

And, if I’m honest, I had plenty of doubts.

Would people like it? Would anyone actually read it? Would the characters and the story mean something to someone other than me?

Then came the whole world of being an indie author.

Learning about marketing, figuring out Instagram, discovering the bookish community and trying to work out how to get my book in front of the right readers.

It’s been a learning curve, to say the least.

I’m still figuring things out. Some days I feel like I’m getting somewhere. Other days… not so much. 😂

But I’m enjoying the journey.

And to everyone who’s followed along, liked or shared a post, left a comment or simply taken an interest in what I’m doing…

Thank you. Genuinely. 🖤

Meet Jen Lawson.

Jen has a good life. A husband she loves, a career she’s worked hard for, and a beautiful home.

Then Charles Whitmore enters her world.

What follows takes Jen far beyond the life she thought she knew and into an experience that will challenge what she wants, what she believes, and how well she really knows herself.

Silver in the Sand — Jen Lawson’s story. 🖤

Some desires are easy to ignore.

Until they’re not.

Silver in the Sand is a story of desire, temptation, and discovering just how difficult it can be to resist something you never expected to want.

Chapter 18

“A whimper escaped despite her clenched teeth, and she froze, listening for footsteps. The cabin was quiet…”

There are plenty of ways to pass the time at 30,000 feet… ✈️ 😈

Late nights at the office were nothing unusual for Jen Lawson.

The work. The pressure. The routine.

Until Charles Whitmore walked into her life.

Some temptations don’t look dangerous at first.

Silver in the Sand — a story of temptation, desire, and the choices that become harder to take back.

The first chapter of Silver in the Sand is set in Brighton.

Not only where the story begins, but where the fantasy started.
