Still buzzing from the most fulfilling and exciting week of my career ๐Ÿ˜ In December 2023 I started writing 'As Things Were' not knowing the crazy journey it would take me on. Now, after endless rewrites, applications and attempts to get it made, it's hard to believe my little film is finally in the proverbial can.ย  It's been incredible discovering the thriving Luxembourg film scene and meeting the talented people who form part of it, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for my place within it. Those four days of the shoot went too fast, and I can't wait to be on set again.ย  I wanna say thank you to the whole crew for your time and dedication on this. Thank you for the kind words about the project, and thank you for the greatย  times and the laughs. And most of all, thank you to my incredible producer Tun @tunb for believing in the project and choosing to go on this journey with me. I truly couldn't have done it without you ๐Ÿซ‚ Anyway, enough cheese ๐Ÿง€ from me. I can't wait to go into the edit and I am so, so excited to share this little film with the world! ๐Ÿ“ธ: @tunb @yannlazargengler @demonicflamefromhell by @nurimoseinco
There it is in writing โœ๏ธ I've been awarded โ‚ฌ32.000 by the Luxembourg Film Fund to make my short film 'As Things Were'! I still can't fully believe it ๐Ÿคฏ Little did 10-year-old me know that 20 years later he'd be the proud recipient of the Aide Carte Blanche fund to make his biggest, most ambitious project yet ๐Ÿ‘ฆ There's a long journey ahead for the film, but I already can't wait to get started on this next chapter of my career. Thanks @filmfundlux for the selection, and to everyone who has helped me so far, especially my producer @tunb for his support and belief in the project from day 1! ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ by @nurimoseinco
One Super 8 Cartridge (+Five Friends. Two Actors. Two Days. Two Sheets and a Laundrette= One GREAT Film!) No editing. @straight_8_ LAUNDRY DAY Starring @byrondonovan_ @sphie.mrgn Created by @nurimoseinco @heather_mcquaid @james.early__ @philippestenier @fionak_film Original music by @iso110100100 Special shoutout to @giulia.cbnro @anieanne_ and @laundryriviera by @nurimoseinco
And that's a wrap on 'Laundry Day'! ๐Ÿ‘ป I spent last weekend shooting a short film for the @straight_8_ competition with a beautiful bunch of people. One single roll of super8 film, just one take per shot, all filmed sequentially with no editing. Those were the restrictions we were working with, and it was such a great exercise in filmmaking. Having to be so considered and intentional about every single shot and cut made me think more carefully about every creative decision along the way. I've never worked on a project with others in such a closely collaborative way, but it was such a refreshing experience โ€” building the story together from the ground up, making decisions collectively, knowing that we all had each other's back. It's great to start 2026 already with a film in the can. Now we just have to wait until May to see how it turned out! Thanks for being such great collaborators and friendโค๏ธ @fionak_film @heather_mcquaid @james.early__ @philippestenier @byrondonovan_ @sphie.mrgn @giulia.cbnro ๐Ÿ“ธ: The good pics: @philippestenier, the average pics: everybody else by @nurimoseinco

PAIRING MODE ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿคโ€๐Ÿง‘๐ŸŽฌ Thatโ€™s a wrap! Two weeks ago, I had the absolute pleasure of teaming up with an incredible group of legends to bring 'Pairing Mode' to life. When I read Rob's script a while back I knew I wanted to make this film with him, so I'm glad we got to team up and work on this together ๐Ÿค I'm currently in the midst of the edit, and what started off as a 5-page script is turning into what looks like a 10+ minute film ๐Ÿ˜ฏ Massive thanks to our amazing cast and crew for such a fun, collaborative shoot.
