You: “Natalya, I just want to make more money.”

Me: Okay… but now my brain has 47 questions. 😂

Because “make more money” is the goal.

It’s not the strategy.

Before I tell you to post more, raise your prices, launch something new or get more customers, I want to understand what’s actually happening inside the business.

What are you selling?
Who’s buying?
What’s converting?
Where are your leads coming from?
What are your margins?
What’s your capacity?
And what’s actually stopping you from scaling?

That’s the difference between advice and strategy.

I’m not here to give you more things to try.

I’m here to help you figure out what your business actually needs next.

Before you decide how much revenue you want your business to generate next year, take a look at what’s actually happening in your business right now. 👀

There are three things you should review before setting that sales target:

1️⃣ Current sales performance: What are you actually generating, and what’s driving those sales?

2️⃣ Conversion rates: How many of your enquiries are turning into paying customers?

3️⃣ Customer retention: Are customers coming back, or are you constantly having to find new ones?

Why does this matter?

Because setting a bigger sales target without understanding your current performance is just picking a number and hoping for the best.

Your sales target should be informed by your numbers, your opportunities, and your business’ capacity to deliver.

Don’t just set a bigger target for next year. Build a strategy to achieve it.

You can set 20 goals for next year and still make very little progress.

Not because you’re incapable, but because you’re trying to do too many things at once.

More marketing. New products. More customers. Better systems. Higher revenue.

All worthwhile goals. But are they the right priorities for your business right now?

Growth isn’t about doing everything. It’s about identifying what will make the biggest difference and committing to doing it well.

Before you map out next year, ask yourself:
→ What’s holding my business back right now?
→ Which change would have the biggest impact?
→ What needs to happen first?

Don’t just plan to do more next year. Plan to move your business forward.

Save this as a reminder while setting your business goals. by @nxtbynatalya

“I want to grow my business next year” sounds great. But let’s get specific. 👀

How much do you want to grow revenue? Which customers will drive that growth? Can your business handle the increased demand? And will that growth actually be profitable?

Because more sales don’t automatically mean more profit, and more customers don’t automatically mean a better business.

Before you set your goals for next year, make sure you have a strategy to support them.

At NXT, we believe growth starts with asking better questions.

Before you set next year’s business goals, take a step back.

It’s tempting to focus on bigger sales targets, more customers, and new opportunities. But have you looked at what your business actually needs to grow?

Are your sales converting? Are you attracting the right customers? Is your marketing generating results? Can your operations support growth? And are you making a profit?

These are the questions that help you move beyond setting goals that sound good to setting goals that make business sense.

Don’t plan your next year based on assumptions. Use what you’ve learned this year to decide what needs to happen next.

A new year won’t fix the problems you’ve been avoiding in your business.

If you’re struggling to convert leads into sales, January won’t magically fix your sales process.

If your operations are inefficient and everything still depends on you, a new calendar won’t create better systems.

And if you keep starting strong but struggle to follow through, a new set of goals won’t automatically change those habits.

You can’t expect different results if you’re carrying the same problems, processes, and behaviours into another year.

Before you start planning what you want to achieve next year, take an honest look at what needs to change.

Don’t just set bigger goals. Build a better way of achieving them.

Let’s start the conversation 👇🏽

What’s ONE thing you refuse to carry into the new year? Tell me in the comments. by @nxtbynatalya

Your business doesn’t have to be falling apart for you to need support.

You don’t need perfect systems, a five-year plan, or all the answers before you invest in your growth.

But you do need to be willing to look honestly at your business, challenge your current approach, and take action on what needs to change.

Coaching isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about being willing to do the work to move forward.

“I’m stuck” doesn’t have to be where your business story ends.

Sometimes, you don’t need another idea, another course, or another list of things to do.

You need to understand what’s actually holding your business back.

At NXT, we start by diagnosing what’s happening, identifying your priorities, and building a strategy around what your business needs next.

And if you need support putting that strategy into action, coaching can help you stay accountable, work through challenges, and keep moving forward.

The goal isn’t to have every answer. It’s to stop guessing and start making more intentional decisions.

If you were my client, I wouldn’t just agree with every decision you make. I’d challenge you to think differently.

Why is this a priority? How do you know it’s working? What’s the actual objective?

Because sometimes, business growth isn’t about doing more. It’s about questioning what you’re doing and making better decisions.

You don’t need someone who simply agrees with you. You need someone who challenges your thinking and helps you move forward.

Ready for that kind of support? DM “COACHING” or visit the link in my bio to explore the NXT Coaching Experiences.
