🔥 Local man Peter James Staiano Jr. — now known as “Peter Hot Wing Eater” — signed the official waiver and stepped into Long Island’s Hottest Wing Challenge at @blackfishtavern in Northport, NY. 🔥
.
The new headline competition from @bestwingsli has found its Long Island home at @blackfishtavern — one of Northport, NY’s most exciting new restaurants and cocktail bars. Wing Fest Sundays turn the challenge into a spectator sport alongside football, wings, beer and cocktails.
.
The challenge combines ghost peppers and scorpion peppers, heated to unleash their full intensity, before the wings are fried in beef tallow from @tallowlongisland. 🌶️🔥
.
Peter conquered the challenge — prompting Chef Ian to raise the stakes: “Every time someone wins, we’ll make the wings hotter.” A new level now awaits returning winners and first-time challengers.
.
“Peter Hot Wing Eater” leaves as one of the challenge’s first winners and earns his place in the Blackfish Tavern Hall of Flame. 🏆
.
Think you can join him? Head to Wing Fest Sundays with your Wing Squad or reserve through the link in bio at @blackfishtavern. by @nybestwingsfestival
