POSTS STORIES REELS

We’re incredibly, insanely wowed and grateful to share that NYC Doll Con has officially sold out of VIP, general weekend, and single day tickets. You all have truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t thank each and every one of you enough for helping make this event so special. Whether you’re attending for the first time or returning to see old friends, we’re counting down the days until our April 2027 convention.

If you’re still hoping to attend, tickets may become available via resale from attendees who can no longer make it. Please be cautious of scams when purchasing from third parties. We strongly encourage buyers to contact convention staff before completing a transaction. We’re always happy to help verify ticket legitimacy. We can’t wait to welcome you in April 2027!

If you are in search of a pass for NYC Doll Con, it is very important that once you find a seller, you contact us BEFORE sending any payment to the seller. Share their email & order number with us and we can confirm if they have purchased a pass.

Below are some red flags to look out for when someone is offering a resale ticket:
They push for extreme urgency:
-They will often pressure you to send money immediately and will not want to give you an opportunity to contact us first with the necessary information to verify the ticket.

-They request unsecured payment methods: They will ask for money to be sent in a form that offers absolutely no buyer protection (such as Friends & Family options).

-They provide fake proof: They may show altered or fake screenshots of a ticket, order confirmation, or receipt.

-They may not be in the hobby: They are often completely unfamiliar with our specific event or our community.

-They offer multiple passes under one order: They may claim to have multiple passes for sale under a single receipt. Remember that this year, all passes required separate transactions and cannot be bundled under one order number.

-They claim they can transfer it themselves or the transfer is through Eventbrite customer service: They might claim they can complete the transfer on their end or involve Eventbrite customer service. In reality, only the NYC Doll Convention staff can process an official ticket transfer via email. When a new ticket is issued, it is issued with the email and name of the new ticket holder directly from Eventbrite.

If anyone sees anything suspicious in our comments, are in conversation with someone who is offering to sell them a ticket and thinks something is off, or believe they have been scammed, please email us at nycdollconvention@gmail.com with as much info as possible (screenshots, email addresses, Instagram, etc profiles). We are doing our best comments and deleting spam as soon as we see it but we are not online 24/7.

We cannot honor counterfeit tickets. Anyone with a counterfeit ticket will not be able to gain access to the event with it. If you suspect you have a counterfeit ticket, please reach out to us. by @nycdollcon

Thank you to everyone who has purchased tickets so far! We are deeply appreciative of the excitement and support for NYC Doll Con. We are looking forward to next April.

We are so thankful for the interest, enthusiasm, and trust shown for our events. It is hard to believe that we have been able to grow so much going into our third year. We promise that all the decisions we make regarding ticket sales, venue, and event organization always have the attendee experience as our focus, even as we balance logistics, workload, and finances behind the scenes.

It is our goal to always grow in ways that will benefit the community and bring hobbyists together. Realistically, the demand for this event may always be larger than the capacity of any given venue. For our current venue, we cannot add additional attendee tickets without exceeding the legal capacity of the space. Venues in NYC can charge tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars for weekend rentals, and we are very satisfied with the home base that Industry City has provided us. Scaling presents both logistical staffing concerns (such as how many volunteers we need) and financial ones (such as possibly needing to increase ticket prices to pay for a larger venue). Our (very small) staff works on this event year round, which includes venue scouting, budgeting, planning, networking within and beyond the hobby, and learning from other conventions, markets, and events.

As we have always said, this convention is a labor of love and a celebration of our community. We are continuing to grow and learn together and we are forever thankful that this dream has become such a beautiful reality.
