🙌 Celebrate Your Ultimate Great Mate! We all have that mate who looks out for everyone else. The one who offers to sober-drive, sorts a safe ride home or checks everyone’s made it back safely. If you know an NZYF member who goes the extra mile to keep their mates safe, nominate them now, and they could score a $400 petrol voucher plus a free 12-month NZYF membership! 👉 Head to the portal to nominate before 5 pm, 30 November 2026. by @nzyoungfarmers
What does it mean to be a Great Mate? 🤝 For Young Farmers, it means being there to help out, give advice, and be the sober driver so everyone gets home safe at the end of the night. We've worked with @waka_kotahi to pull together resources that will set our clubs up to identify and champion the ‘Great Mates’ in their clubs who put their hand up to sober drive 🚗💚 👉 CLUBS: Head to the NZYF portal to download resources and tools to help ensure all your members have a safe ride home. by @nzyoungfarmers
Shoutout to King Country Young Farmers for doing the hard mahi as we kick into the silly season "Our member out there busy on farm docking, mustering, fencing, and in the tractors doing ground work and the start of silage" Hit up your local young farmers club for help with some of these jobs! @kingcountryyoungfarmers by @nzyoungfarmers
Next year NZ Young Farmers turns 100. That’s a lot of memories from across New Zealand that we want to find. The team have started digging into the national archives and found a gem from 1938. The photo is of a Canterbury YFC tour of the North Island. If you have some old photos that you’ve stored away or know of some places that more of these gems could be hidden away. This one’s a goodie. Thanks to the team at @weareboxer who headed to Weber in the Tararua District to chat to Ed and Millie and talked about what life is like for them on and off farm. We also wanted to show the full 5 mins, its worth sticking around for. You can check out the full story in the @goldpinenz magazine too! by @nzyoungfarmers

Not every farm day looks like this. But this one’s pretty hard to beat. ☀️🐮 A little sunshine, a few curious calves and summer workwear in its element with George & Britt. @nzyoungfarmers @george_letham @brittany_moir by @nzyoungfarmers
