POSTS STORIES REELS

Every year on Good Friday and through out the year I have this document saved in my photos so I can come back too. It was read to me by my SALT counselor Brenden and it tells us in depth what Jesus brutally went through today on Good Friday for us. It changed the way I viewed the cross and broke my heart that my wrongdoing and sin put our precious Jesus there but I wanted to post it so that everyone could read it and have a new perspective of the cross. This is what changed it all for me. Please take some time to read it. Also this is none of my work or writing I don’t take any credit for it. I just felt lead to share. I pray it brings new understanding to the cross and why we needed Jesus by @oafy_daniel

Recently I don’t have any words except Thank you Jesus.
Thank you Jesus for the people I’m surrounded by.
Thank you Jesus for the experiences I get to have.
Thank you Jesus for your creation and the beauty created for the people you love.
Thank you Jesus that you paid it all, my calling is to worship you and obey your commands, and I thank you that’s all you require of me and that I become better and my heart becomes bigger for you while doing your work through the obedience you ask of me.
Thank you for inviting to have the free gift of salvation and all I have to do is accept it.
Thank you Jesus for things that I can miss.
Thank you Jesus for memories.

Lord my life is yours because you died for it. I just want to show the world what a life that is surrendered to you looks like. Not so that my name be glorified but yours Lord Jesus. What a God that you look for the lost and the broken like me and CHOOSE to use me for the betterment of your kingdom. It’s not my work, it’s always been yours all I have is yours I just get to enjoy it. May I never lose the wonder of your presence. I will always stand in awe of who you are that you would want a relationship with a sinner and imperfect person like me. I’ll never get over it. I love you King Jesus. May my life be a reflection of you. Thanks @wave_nsc for the opportunity to enjoy more time with the body of Christ. It was a blessing being in community with all who came on the retreat! by @oafy_daniel

“The greatest form of tragedy is being successful at everything that doesn’t matter” - Tim Tebow

First to everyone who worked this summer. You guys made this summer so amazing and so special this group was something different in a good way and you guys are awesome and so spiritually gifted so I challenge you to continually go use your gifts like you have this summer—for eternal purpose and advancing the kingdom— you guys are so awesome and it was a blessing to serve with this team.

Thank you Lord for another summer at one of the places where I see you most. The people, the culture, the feelings, my heart is overwhelmed by the way you continually take a broken, imperfect, man like me and use it for your glory. I learned so much once again and all I want to say is Thank you Jesus. Oh, what a mystery that red blood makes me white. Isn’t it wild, doesn’t it make you wonder how something so profound could be so simple?

I’m in awe of you Lord. All of my life is for you because you came here to die for me so that I could have this beautiful life. I wish my words could be deeper or more profound but my finite knowledge is in capable to give you anywhere close to what you are worthy of through my words. I worship you and give you all the praise. May my life be a reflection of your character and all that you are I don’t want any of me in it just you.

@highlanddaycamp I don’t know if this is my last summer but if it is thank you for the every opportunity and giving me life giving moments, heaven bound friendships, wisdom, knowledge, growth, and so much more. Thank you for everyone who invested in my faith your words weren’t just empty they touched my heart and changed it slowly through the past 3 summers and I’m eternally grateful. ❤️ I love Highland Day Camp!

John 10:14-18 by @oafy_daniel

Intentional.
Experience.
Unfamiliarity.

Those words are the words that have shown up so much this week.

What an intentional God we serve.
Experiences in our life create the testimony we share.
Becoming unfamiliar instead of staying content in the familiar.

God you have been so gracious to me. Without your grace I am nothing. Thank you for another opportunity to grow in relationship with you and serve you. Thank you for the true love you showed to me and all of your children through the shed blood of your son. I am in awe and will never get over why you saved a broken and helpless guy like me but I am so grateful. My whole life for your glory, my whole world for you only, everything for the HONOR of YOUR NAME. You are the center of it all I give it all to you Lord. TYJ. There is no one else worthy.

Thank you Jesus for everyone who was on this trip and who I served alongside, some new brothers and sisters in Christ, some who I got grow a deeper connection with. You all made this work and service to the Lord so fun and unforgettable. It was a blessing help advance the kingdom along each and every one of you. Keep the mission going and don’t ever stop thinking and acting in light of eternity. I love you all ❤️ by @oafy_daniel

This summer was nothing but a blessing straight from the Lord. The way the campers came and simply showed me and our staff what it looks like to have a childlike faith, the unexplainable joy that comes from a community like this, being joyful in the hard parts and easy, and the never stopping, never giving up, unbreaking, always and forever love of God that was with me and this amazing staff all summer long and has been and will be with us throughout our lives!

Thank you Jesus and @highlanddaycamp for the opportunity of coming back for another summer, it was the best way to spend my summer!

Thank you to the whole staff, everyone who worked even a day, and especially leadership!! You guys are some of the most wise and impactful people I have ever met and will ever meet in my time on this earth I love you all!!

I thank Jesus for the unexplainable endless joy of living and walking through life with this beautiful godly friendships and there’s no word to explain how amazing and loving this group is. “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”

Nothing better than a weekend filled with hanging with old friends, meeting new ones and worshiping the Lord! We are so lucky and blessed that we can be in partnership with Jesus, the God of the Universe will literally walk with you throughout life as long as you believe!! That’s crazy! TYJ!!

“Then the Lord’s anger burned against Moses and he said, “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you. You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do. He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” by @oafy_daniel

These are my friends! I love them so much with all of my heart. Leaving camp after a long summer grinding sucks but we serve so that we can go into the broken world and fix it! I’m so thankful for these fruitful friendships that just made me summer better than I could’ve ever imagined! I love you highland day camp staff 2024!

If you think a day camp can't impact you like a sleep away can you would be really wrong just like I was. This summer is all I could ever ask for.
Gods plan is so good and I all I felt this summer was his love and how incomprehensible God is.
He gives the most heart filling joy in the good and bad and I witnessed it this summer so much. Kids are definitely a hard bunch but even in the bad it was good cause God is just so GOOD. His love and grace was in everything this summer and I'm so thankful what he taught me through @highlanddaycamp . Every moment was perfect in its own way and I wouldn't want my summer to look any different. Thank you God for this opportunity and thank you to my amazing directors Lydia and Micheal as well! I learned so much and getting to see first hand and teach kids of all ages the gospel and even watch some pass from death to life through Gods free gift is one of the greatest gifts ever. God is a waymaker and a miracle worker and I saw it in everything this summer! Thank you God for choosing me for this job and putting me in this position!

A great way to start the summer 🧂
