Sixth-grade students stepped back in time during Ancient Egypt Day, transforming their pod into an immersive journey through ancient history. Building on lessons from Bible, history, and English classes, students explored Egyptian culture and the Bible story of the 10 plagues through hands-on activities. They created hieroglyphics, played games, gave presentations, solved an escape room, mummified apples, decorated pharaoh hats, and enjoyed a Mediterranean lunch. This fun-filled day brought learning to life through creativity, collaboration, and exploration! #AncientEgyptDay #HistoryComesToLife by @oakschristianschool

STUDENT VOICES! Students from the Institute of Global Leadership presented to the Westlake Village City Council, proposing a speed limit reduction to 25 mph on Via Rocas. 🚸 After months of research and interviews with Calvary Community Church, The Ridge assisted living facility, OCS dorm residents, OCS campus supervisors, and members of the Four Seasons community, these student leaders brought their findings and recommendations to city officials. 👏 Way to go, Jackie Ahn, Nadia Hashimi, Jillian Telford, and Dean Watson, for taking initiative and making your voices heard! #GlobalLeadership #OaksChristian by @oakschristianschool
Seniors donned their Hawaiian and surf shirts and made waves as well as memories at the first ‘Senior Lounge’ of the year at lunchtime yesterday, kicking off this beloved Oaks Christian tradition! The softball field was transformed into a tropical paradise filled with great food, awesome activities, fun photo ops, a DJ, and chances to win some incredible raffle prizes. This year, seniors had extra chances to win the prizes by bringing in toys and wrapping supplies to benefit the toy drive for the Special Abilities Ministry at Calvary Community Church. A huge thank you to all the parents who contributed and volunteered to make this event a wonderful memory for our seniors! #ClassOf2027 #SeniorLounge by @oakschristianschool
