Boring, Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland Meet Simon, Simon is a coffee guy, dating back to the original Barista Guild and a background running deep in hospitality and specialty coffee before crossing over to the supplier side and into beverage manufacturing. By day he’s Channel Manager for Coffee/Cafe at Apollo Foods, home of Boring Oat Milk & Picky Juice, where he spends his time in cafes and roasteries across NZ and Australia. When he’s not talking milk texture or arguing about what actually belongs in a latte art throwdown, you’ll find him on a bike, on a sports field, or buried in a playlist. Auckland based, husband, and dad to two young lads, Simon firmly believes coffee is built and grown by community. That’s where the board comes in: when it’s firing on all cylinders, everyone gets to play their role, and everyone wins. by @oatfw.plz

Making brews at home as a seasoned coffee professional. Some say craft before the vibes, I beg to differ. Cheers to @boringmilk for sponsoring this showcase. #specialtycoffee #oatmilk #pro by @oatfw.plz

How good is Otago? There was some sort of event on involving running, but that’s wasn’t for me. Coffee and what not is more up my alley. Boring Service Break Runners Nest ŵ Coffee Supreme x Sherwood Few visits around the area, and not enough content. #coffee #marathon #activations #brand #collab #oat #oat #oat by @oatfw.plz
Hospitality’s a grind… so we’re hitting pause. Come hang with us for an afternoon of absolutely nothing complicated. A few drink tokens, some snags on the barbie, and a game (or two) of bowls with your friends or that cafe next door. No name tags, no agenda, no (insert common place coffee gathering here). Just a bit of fresh air, good company, and a reminder that taking a break isn’t boring; it’s essential. What’s good Australia? An epic launch week for @boringmilk over the ditch in Sydney at @finefoodexpo. Just a tiny stand in a big new playground. It was great to see plenty of familiar faces and welcome a lot of new ones. Thanks @barrelonecoffeeroasters for the tasty brews 👌🏽 Any tips for AU or state based distributors or if you just want your local cafe to try our oat milk, flick me a DM. 📸 @libby.co.nz (stolen soz) #australia #oatmilk #specialtycoffee #coffee by @oatfw.plz
