One failed relationship away from taking my mama up on her offer… πŸ˜‚πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ’ But seriously, let’s get back to the fashion! πŸ‘”βœ¨ For those who have followed me for a while, you know personal style has always been a part of who I am. Over the last two years, I haven’t shared as much of my own wardrobe, outfits, and style inspiration as I once did. Not because the passion went anywhere, but because I was intentional about pouring into other areas of my life and business β€” growing my client base, developing my professional services, and finding my footing here in Atlanta. πŸ™οΈπŸ“ˆ I’ve always been well dressed, even when the camera wasn’t on. πŸ˜‰ But sometimes growth requires stepping back, realigning, and making room for the things that genuinely bring you joy. πŸ™πŸΎ I’m excited to start sharing more of my personal style again, from everyday looks and tailored pieces to fashion inspiration, shopping finds, and everything in between. πŸ§₯πŸ‘žπŸ›οΈ And what better way to reconnect than through LTK! πŸŽ‰ You can now find me over there and shop along with me. Consider this your invitation to follow along as I get back into my fashion content era. πŸ₯‚πŸ“Έ Let’s reconnect! 🀝🏾 πŸ›οΈ Find me on LTK: https://www.shopltk.com/user/81b2c261533845febac706f3b3f841ba #PersonalStyle #Menswear #ImageConsultant #FashionInspiration #LTKStyle by @obabascloset

πŸ‘‘β€οΈπŸ’™ FOREVER MY QUEEN, FOREVER MY GIRL! 🐝✨ From our days at Delaware State University, when she was Miss DSU and I was Mr. Junior, to all these years later, one thing has never changed: I’m ALWAYS going to show up for my Queen! πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ For this year’s Homecoming celebration, I had the pleasure of styling her look for this beautiful tribute to the legacy of Miss Delaware State University! πŸ‘‘πŸ The vision was all about allowing that statement DSU racing jacket to have its MOMENT! We paired it with light-wash denim, crisp white boots, a modest white top underneath, and a clean red handbag for that perfect pop of color! ❀️🀍🩡 And baby, she SLAYED! 😍πŸ”₯ I love that she took the inspiration and made it her own, bringing her personal interpretation to the look while keeping the color story and styling vision intact. That’s what fashion is all about! To my Queen, I love you forever! Thank you for always being such a beautiful friend, supporter, and light in my life. No matter how much time passes or where life takes us, I’m ALWAYS a call away! ❀️😘 Special love to @jmedia_ for putting together this beautiful graphic πŸ‘‘ (Love you, and I’m sad we didn’t get to connect in person, but you already know we STAY connected, honey! πŸ˜‚β€οΈ) And a huge thank you to everyone involved in making this special moment possible and giving these Queens the opportunity to celebrate their legacy together. 70 years of royalty, sisterhood, beauty, and Hornet excellence! πŸπŸ‘‘ Once a Hornet, ALWAYS a Hornet! ❀️🩡 @obabascloset for all things style πŸ‘” #ObabasCloset #StyledByObaba #DSUHomecoming2026 #DelawareStateUniversity #MissDSU DSURoyalty CrownedNCulture HBCUHomecoming HBCUFashion HornetPride BlackExcellence FashionStylist HBCULegacy ForeverRoyal by @obabascloset

The Biggest Hornet 🐝🩡❀️ Full circle moments hit a little differently when you take the time to reflect on just how far you’ve come. πŸ₯Ήβœ¨πŸ™πŸΎ I went to Dover Mall to grab a few last-minute things πŸ›οΈ and walked right past the Charlotte Russe location where I started my fashion career as a Textiles & Apparel student. πŸ‘•πŸ‘–πŸ§΅πŸͺ‘ Before the clients, the styling, and Neiman Marcus, it was just me and the Russe! πŸ˜‚πŸ‘—πŸ’…πŸΎ I also made my way past the former Dover Downs, where I began my journey in hospitality and events management many moons ago. 🏨πŸ₯‚πŸŽŸοΈ Two places that helped lay the foundation for so much of what I’ve accomplished professionally today. πŸ’ΌπŸŒŸ From my fashion friends who helped me cultivate a culture of style, creativity, and self-expression on campus πŸ‘ πŸ“Έβœ¨, to my Student Government colleagues whose shared ambition and determination pushed us to dream bigger, lead boldly, and pursue more than what was in front of us. πŸŽ“πŸ€πŸΎπŸ›οΈ It’s beautiful to see how those same overly ambitious college kids have grown into the professionals, entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers we are today. πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ’«πŸ† Delaware State University gave me so much more than an education. πŸŽ“πŸ©΅β€οΈ It gave me community, confidence, lifelong friendships, leadership opportunities, and the space to discover so many different versions of myself. 🫢🏾🌍✨ Coming back to campus is always a reminder that the seeds we planted back then are still producing fruit today. 🌱🌳🍎 And while life has taken us in so many different directions, there’s something special about returning to the place where so many of our dreams first took shape. πŸ₯ΉπŸ‘❀️ Forever grateful for the journey, the growth, the memories, and every person who played a part in my story. πŸ™πŸΎπŸ’βœ¨ Happy Homecoming to my Hornet family! πŸπŸ©΅β€οΈπŸŽ‰πŸ₯‚ Once a Hornet, always a Hornet. From Auditioning to Coaching πŸ‘ πŸΎβœ¨ I went from auditioning for a fashion show to becoming a runway coachβ€”and today was our first rehearsal. πŸŽ¬πŸ‘ πŸΎ I had the opportunity to step fully into the coaching space, working with our models on the fundamentals of professional runway: stage presence, posture, foot placement, cadence, posing, movement, and presentation. πŸ‘£πŸΎβœ¨ With models coming from different backgrounds and levels of training, the goal was to create a standard (which I was seen as such) β€”so we can move as one collective while still allowing each model’s individuality and personality to shine. 🫢🏾πŸ”₯ What makes this moment even more special is remembering that I was doing this work as a young adult among my peers. πŸ₯Ήβœ¨ I’ve always had an eye for movement, presentation, and helping people become more confident in how they show up. πŸ‘πŸΎ Now, at 33, to step into a new era of my life and have those same gifts recognizedβ€”and valued by my peers as adultsβ€”is something I do not take lightly. πŸ™πŸΎπŸ’« It’s another reminder to keep walking in my gifts, developing my talents, and making room for the ways they can serve others. πŸ–€ Atlanta, I’m here. πŸ‘ πŸΎπŸ‘ Whether you’re a model, creative, fashion professional, young professional, public speaker, executive, or simply someone looking to improve the way you walk and carry yourselfβ€”I can help you develop your presence. ✨ From runway and walking in heels πŸ‘ πŸΎ to confidently crossing a stage for a presentation, speaking engagement, conference, or professional event πŸŽ€πŸΎβ€”presence matters. DM me β€œRUNWAY” πŸ“© to connect about coaching, workshops, and collaboration opportunities. πŸ“ΉπŸ“Έ @jay_themartian ❀️ #RunwayCoach #AtlantaModels #StagePresence #ProfessionalPresence #RunwayTraining by @obabascloset
