POSTS STORIES REELS

10 plus years as a United States Marine.

But my barbering journey started before that chapter ever ended in Okinawa, Japan, cutting hair while I was still serving, with no idea where it would take me.

This past weekend, @staygold31 told me something that stuck: lean into your story.

And now, being in rooms like @stmntgrooming Artist Edition, Cultivating Culture, and World of Stmnt surrounded by people who continue to push this industry forward, I’m realizing I’m still only at the beginning.

The uniform changed. The mission didn’t.

Keep building. Keep creating. Keep serving.

Julian’s been coming to me for a year now, and he’s getting ready for his first homecoming! It really means a lot to me that he continues to trust me with his hair, especially for moments like this.

A little behind the scenes at Obsidian Grooming Co. Upgrading my studio lighting to take my client photography to the next level. Every detail matters, and I’m always looking for ways to elevate my craft.

Today was @_djsims_ last cut with me before he heads off to start his next chapter as a Marine recruiter.

He’s been in my chair for over a year, and I’m grateful he’s been part of this journey with me.

This is what barbering is really about. It’s more than just the cuts, it’s building real connections with real people along the way.

Gonna miss you, D! Wishing you nothing but success on this next chapter. Semper Fi! 🤝🏽💈
