ONCE A BISON NURSE,ALWAYS A BISON NURSE
ㅤ
Your nursing journey didn't end at graduation, and neither does your connection to OBU!
We would love to stay connected with our School of Nursing alumni and find new ways to keep you involved in the OBU nursing family.
Whether you'd like to share updates about your nursing journey, hear what's happening in the School of Nursing, encourage current students, offer mentorship, or simply stay in touch, we'd love to hear from you!

We were so happy to have participate in OBU’s STEM Activities Day!

We love any opportunity to show off our moulage skills and illustrate the science behind wound care. High school students got hands-on experience exploring STEM and discovering how science, critical thinking, and problem-solving connect to real careers.

Nursing goes beyond the hospital.
Our students and faculty are proud to take nursing into the community—participating in local events, providing education, and bringing awareness to the health needs of those around us.
Through hands-on service and community involvement, our nurses are learning that caring for others means meeting people where they are.

Their goal is to collect 1,000 diapers, and they need YOUR help to make it happen! Every package donated brings them one step closer to reaching their goal and helping families who need a little extra support.

There is something incredibly special about gathering together in prayer as we send our nursing students into their next chapter.
Our Blessing of the Hands Ceremony is a time to pause, pray with one another, and ask God to guide the hands and hearts of our students as they begin their journey into clinical practice.
These are the hands that will learn to care for patients with skill and compassion. Hands that will learn incredible skills, comfort, serve, and encourage others.
What an honor it is to stand beside our students, pray over their journey, and entrust their clinical experiences to God.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23
We are grateful for this special moment of faith, fellowship, and reflection—and so excited to see how God will use each of our Bison Nurses as they begin caring for others. by @obuschoolofnursing

What a week!
The first week of school is officially in the books, and we couldn’t be more excited to have our students back on campus!
From classrooms and skills labs to serving and volunteering throughout our community, our students have jumped into the semester with enthusiasm, compassion, and a heart for caring for others.
There’s something special about seeing campus come alive again—seeing familiar faces, welcoming new ones, and watching our students put their passion for nursing into action.
Here’s to a wonderful semester filled with learning, growing, serving, and caring! We’re so excited for all that’s ahead. ✨
Welcome back, Bison Nursing! 🦬
