This is my 1,000 post on Instagram! Phew, it’s been a fun journey so far, Ocarina Army!!

My new song 🍃🍂Ye Nonnokwuiltonowa🍂🍃 came out last week. I’ve had so many people reach out and ask about the lyrics, I went ahead and made subtitles on the video. Feel free to check it out!!

Here’s a small short of it, if you enjoyed it and the meaning of the song/the video resonates with you, please share it on your story. I’d really appreciate any love you can spare, because I think it’s one of the best songs I’ve ever written in my life.

I am proud to showcase what I know and what’s helped me connect with my culture and my roots with this song.

All culture and meaning aside, as a musician I truly created my style in this composition. I cannot wait to explore more music similar to it. I had so much fun writing it, and hope someday, people listen to my music and connect with a part of themselves.

Thank you for all the encouragements friends! Onwards towards the next song. Let’s get to 10k on here!

NEW ORIGINAL OUT

This video took a lot of planning and effort. If you have a minute I’d appreciate a like, a listen or any type of engagement you have time for. Originals tend to get buried by the algorithm, but if we get to at least 50 likes then it usually does pretty well.

Thanks for your support and your help friends! I can’t be Ocarina Owl without Ocarina Army!

Listen in the bio or story.

Goodbye Bleach ☠️🍓

Been watching this show since I was in middle school. It’s been about twenty years. Thank you Tite Kubo, for drawing this amazing story.

Look man, I’m tired. I’ve earned a little rest now 😂✌️

After four all regions this month. And so many practices, concerts and events.

Last day of Hispanic Heritage is today Oct. 15th

So many things have happened this year, both good and bad. We’ve become so numb to so much suffering around the world. I haven’t made any ocarina content or videos this year that I feel like have been good enough to share on here. This is one of my biggest platforms, so I often second guess if I should post on here things that aren’t finished.

Being really honest though - I love my life right now. I am happier and busier than I’ve ever been before. I am thankful for that. I don’t mind being busy.

I wish I had more time for friends, family and music making. But I try to get the time I’m given.

I can’t believe who I am today. I am proud of myself. Especially knowing where I came from. Despite it all, I am proud to be who I am today. ¡Que viva la cultura!

I still have goals to get to. I want to become a published composer and write music for orchestra. I am thankful I have had so many musician friends and people who support my musical endeavors. I also want to publish my music on platforms like iTunes and Bandcamp. One step at a time. I see the vision, I need time, effort and money to get it done.

I can’t wait to share the long term projects I’ve been working on.

I know it’s not hoodie season yet, but I hope these pictures bring a smile to your face.

- Nic
