Who owns the stories we tell about impact? Funders ask for stories, practitioners collect them, and the person at the center can easily get lost along the way. Join Who Owns the Story? Rethinking Ethical Storytelling with communications strategist and humanitarian photographer Babita Patel (@thebabitapatel) a session that brings funders and practitioners into the same room. Through real examples and hands-on practice, practitioners will learn to ask better questions that let people shape their own stories, and funders will examine what they ask of grantees. Come ready to rethink your role and help shift storytelling culture.
