We still can’t quite believe we’re typing this. 🤩 Don’t Need Love is coming out on 7” vinyl. 16 October. 🥳🗓️ Seven months ago we put out the EP and played our first show. It sold out, and we genuinely had no idea that would happen. Now there’s a record. We recorded the whole thing straight to tape: 16 tracks, mixed to mono, no computers anywhere near it. Hearing our own songs come back off a record is something else entirely. 🥰 That was always the point. It just took until now. None of it happened on its own. @old.school.design gave us artwork we still can’t believe is ours. @duppy_dread and @smith_and_miller_records made the physical release possible at all. @riotseed got us seen and reachable. @shogunero and Matthias kept catching the live moments so they didn’t just disappear into the night. And our friends: the ones who were there from the first show and filled the room before anyone else knew who we were. You know exactly who you are. 🧡 Then there’s you: people who turned up in towns we’d never played, who sent us messages about the tunes, who kept following along. That’s not nothing to a band seven months old. 🧡 So we’ve put something extra into the pre-order copies. Not because we had to, but it’s the only way we could think of to say thanks properly: 300 copies, all numbered by hand. ✍️ Pre-order copies come signed on the back of the sleeve, with a postcard, stickers, a pin, and a download of our live set from Görlitz: four tracks, including a dub of Don’t Need Love that isn’t available anywhere else. 📀 PRE-ORDERS OPEN TOMORROW. #rocksteady #earlyreggae #skinheadreggae #vinyl by @offbeataffairband
