Watching yesterday's match, one thing stood out to me: the Falcons have a unique approach to taking penalties. They do an excellent job of making the goalkeeper believe the ball is going one way before calmly placing it in the other.

It's a brilliant display of confidence, composure, and mind games.

This doesn't apply only to football—it applies to everyday life. Whether in business, your career, academics, or personal growth, you can't rely on yesterday's winning formula forever.

To stay ahead, you must keep learning, evolving, and improving. Consistency wins games, but innovation keeps you winning.

To the Falcons, keep the confidence, but never stop reinventing yourselves. The best teams aren't just those with great skills—they're the ones that continue to surprise their opponents.

I'm gonna watch you again on Saturday, Good luck Dear Super Falcons Show .

There's a way success can make us forget the One who made it possible.

Everyone who watched Abattoir knows Officer Pius,He was a very courageous man.

If the rat poison had actually killed Hyena, I'm sure Officer Pius would have quickly organized another press conference to celebrate himself.

But his biggest problem was that he didn't know how to give God the glory.

The truth is, many of us have the same problem.

You see someone who got married just two months ago, and they are already organizing seminars, teaching people about "how to position yourself" and "how to marry the right person."

Who told you that you've already figured it all out? Could it not be God's grace that brought you this far?

You also see someone who graduated with a 2:1 looking down on those with a 2:2, forgetting that many people worked just as hard but didn't get the same result.

Never forget that grace speaks where effort stops.

It is good to celebrate your achievements, but don't let your success make you forget God.

What you have today is not only because of your wisdom or strength, but because His grace has carried you.

Always remember: When God is removed from your success story, pride quietly takes His place.

I know your heart is heavy, BUT RELAX.

I know you're going through a lot, BUT RELAX.

I know harsh words have been spoken to you, and they've left wounds no one else can see, BUT RELAX.

I know you're worried about the future while silently fighting battles you can't even explain to anyone, BUT RELAX.

Every season has an ending, and every storm eventually runs out of rain.

Don't let situation make you forget that better days are ahead.

EASE HAS COME IN AUGUST.

Have you ever looked back at your life and realized you settled for less because you got tired of waiting?

Early this morning, I was deep in thought about life, and I remembered a season when I was asking God for something really big. I prayed and believed with all my heart. But after waiting for so long, I started losing hope.

Eventually, I changed my prayer. I began asking God for something much smaller, thinking, "At least if I get this, it's better than nothing."

And yes, God answered that prayer.

But the truth is, I wasn't truly happy. Even though I got what I asked for, deep down I knew it wasn't what I had originally dreamed of. It felt like I had settled for less because I became tired of waiting.

Imagine someone who worked so hard to earn a PhD but, after searching for a job for years, ended up working in a restaurant. There's nothing wrong with the work, and every job deserves respect. The job may help pay the bills, but deep inside, the person knows it isn't the dream they spent years preparing for. They would still hope for an opportunity that matches their calling and qualifications.

Life can make us lower our expectations when things don't happen as quickly as we want. But sometimes, waiting is better than settling. Delays don't always mean denial, and giving up on your original vision too soon can leave you with lasting regrets.

My prayer today is this:

May we never settle for less because we are tired of waiting. May God give us the patience, strength, and faith to hold on until His best comes our way. Amen.

If this message speaks to you, share it with someone who needs encouragement today.

Sometimes, life takes you to places you never planned to be.

You find yourself asking, "Didn't I pray enough? Didn't I do everything right?"

I recently read about a woman who got married at 24. She had planned to finish having her children before she turned 30. But life had a different story. She didn't get pregnant until she was 33.

Life happens, and God's timing is not the same as ours.

We all have dreams, plans, and timelines. But sometimes, things don't happen when we expect them to. It doesn't always mean God has forgotten you or that your prayers are unanswered. Sometimes, He is preparing something greater than you can see.

Some of the hardest seasons we go through become the very stories that inspire others tomorrow. Your delay may become someone's hope. Your struggle may become someone's encouragement.

Life isn't always easy. It isn't a bed of roses. There will be challenges, disappointments, and unexpected turns. But through it all, never lose faith. Trust that God knows what is best for you, even when you don't understand the process.

At the right time, God will make it happen.

Letting the Holy Spirit Lead Starts with the Small Things

Many people think being led by the Holy Spirit only happens in big, spiritual moments. But in truth, it often begins with simple, everyday things.

I remember one day, I was at a gathering when I suddenly felt a strong urge in my heart to sweep the floor.

At first, I hesitated. I looked around and saw younger people who could easily do it. I thought, Why me?

But the feeling didn’t go away. It became so strong that I couldn’t ignore it. So, I picked up the broom and started sweeping.

As I did, people began talking. Some said things that could have discouraged me. Words that could have made me drop the broom and walk away. But God gave me the strength to ignore the noise and keep going.

Then something unexpected happened.

A man quietly walked up to me, slipped some money into my pocket, and said, “You must come from a good home. Your mother raised you well.”

Obedience to the Holy Spirit often begins with humility in the small th

You never know who’s watching. You never know what God is working out behind the scenes.

So don’t ignore those little nudges in your heart. Let the Holy Spirit guide you even in the mundane.

Because small acts of obedience can lead to big blessings.

I couldn't have asked for a better brother.

Thank you for always being there ,the listening ear, the endless gists, the laughter, and even the fights that somehow brought us closer😁

Through every season, you've been a constant source of support, strength, and joy.

As you celebrate another year, I pray that life rewards you with happiness, good health, success, and fulfillment.

Never forget that your best days are not behind you; they are still ahead of you.

Keep being the amazing person you are.

I'm grateful to have you as my brother, and I'm proud of all you've accomplished and all that you're yet to become.

Every December, I notice something about my mum and me.

It’s the way my mum quietly makes the season beautiful for everyone around her while slowly forgetting about herself. She makes sure everyone is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need, often putting her own needs last.

Over time, I’ve come to realize that many Parents do the same.

They sacrifice so much just to see their families smile during the festive season.

That realization inspired something special.

As someone who truly loves Bible stories, I just discovered a TV platform that really caught my attention — Iseda TV.

I first started noticing people talking about their recent movie titled Hannah, and the reviews made me curious enough to check out their other movies too.

Honestly, I was amazed.

The way they tell Bible stories is so beautiful and emotional. Watching their movies brought back memories of all the Bible stories I read while growing up. It made the stories feel more real and meaningful again.

And guess what? Most of the cast members are Nollywood actors and actresses, which made it even more interesting to watch.

If you’ve seen Hannah, then you already know how emotional and powerful the movie was.

One thing I also appreciate about Iseda TV is that they keep their movies clean. No nudity, no unnecessary scenes ,just pure storytelling with good values. Even their theme songs are amazing and memorable.

I honestly wish more Gospel movie producers would focus on telling more biblical stories like this.

Stories about Daniel, the disciples, and the martyrs would make incredible movies too.

If you love Bible stories and clean, meaningful movies, you should definitely check out Iseda TV.

The rate at which some single women are becoming desperate for marriage is honestly alarming.

Something happened last month that really got me thinking. A strange number called my husband. When he picked up, he realized it was a wrong number and politely told the caller. But instead of ending the call, the lady started introducing herself, her name, where she’s from, her relationship status and so on.

Where I was sitting, I was wondering, “What exactly is going on here?” She kept talking and talking until my husband eventually ended the call.

Surprisingly, the next day, the same lady called again. This time, my husband wasn’t around, so I answered. She started with unnecessary greetings and tried to continue the conversation.

The moment she realized she was speaking with me, she quickly ended the call.

*****
I strongly believe that there is a man for every woman. But putting yourself under unnecessary pressure, or trying to force connections in the wrong way, is not the solution.

Desperation can lead to actions that are embarrassing and disrespectful not just to others, but to yourself as well.

Marriage is not something to chase blindly or by all means.

It is something that should happen at the right time, with the right person, and in the right way.

Dear sisters, know your worth. Focus on becoming the best version of yourself. Build your life, grow in wisdom, and trust God’s timing.

The right person will find you without you losing your dignity or peace.

Let us normalize patience, self-respect, and purpose not pressure and desperation.

Lately, my favorite Bible verse has been Psalm 34:4 ,“I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.

Listen… fear is something we all face.

Challenges, worries, pressure, they come to everyone.

But you don’t have to stay in that place.

The question is, are you seeking God, or just sitting in the fear?

Because when you truly seek Him, something changes,He hears and answer you.

And He brings you out stronger than before.

Today, don’t let fear control your mind or your decisions. Take that step ,pray, believe, and trust God completely.

You are not alone, and your situation is not bigger than God.

May God deliver us from every fear and fill our heart with boldness, peace, and strength today, Amen.
