ARE YOU OKAY? – Mental Health Awareness Campaign

I had the opportunity to engage with young people at Mwandaliwa Center in an important conversation about mental health through the “Are You Okay?” campaign by the Commonwealth Youth Council. @officialcyc

It was a meaningful moment to remind young people that their feelings matter, their voices deserve to be heard, and they are never alone. Sometimes, a simple question like “Are you okay?” can open the door to a life changing conversation. 💚

Let’s continue creating safe spaces where young people feel comfortable speaking about their mental health, sharing their experiences, and supporting one another without judgment.

Remember, checking on someone is an act of care. One conversation can make a difference. 🫂

I am thrilled to share that I have been selected to serve as a Wellbeing Champion for the @officialcyc Commonwealth Youth Council’s Are You Okay? Campaign!
Mental health and emotional wellbeing are fundamental pillars of strong, thriving communities, yet too often, the challenges young people face go unnoticed or unspoken. Joining this incredible network of passionate young leaders from across the Commonwealth is both an honor and a deeply meaningful responsibility. Together, we are stepping forward to break down stigmas, encourage open dialogue, and create safe, inclusive spaces where honest conversations about mental health can flourish.
As a Wellbeing Champion, my commitment is centered around bringing four simple yet transformative actions to life within my community:
ASK: Reaching out proactively to check in on friends, peers, and community members, creating moments of genuine care.
LISTEN: Offering an empathetic, non-judgmental ear so that others feel truly heard, validated, and supported.
CONNECT: Bridging the gap between young people and the appropriate support networks, resources, and community guidance.
ACT: Taking meaningful steps to advocate for youth wellbeing, foster safe environments, and drive real, positive change.
Through this campaign, I am looking forward to engaging fellow youth, facilitating community conversations, sharing vital campaign resources, and actively contributing to a unified, Commonwealth wide effort to advance youth mental health and wellbeing.
Here’s to breaking the silence, supporting one another, and ensuring that no young person ever has to navigate their mental health journey alone! #AreYouOkay #GetYouthInvolved. by @official_sambala

The future we want starts with the actions we take today. 🌍✨

Honoured to celebrate SDG Day and join fellow young changemakers in championing partnerships, innovation, and action for sustainable development.

Proud to have served as one of the supervisors at Kids Tech Festival, held on 15–16 August 2026, with my role as a supervisor through Tech IQ Company.
It was a wonderful experience supporting and guiding children as they explored technology, creativity, and innovation. Seeing their confidence, curiosity, and excitement throughout the festival was truly inspiring.
Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to an initiative that creates a space for children to learn, discover, and build their potential through technology.

I am excited to announce the completion of my latest professional development milestone: the Leadership and Organizations course through the European Institute of Leadership & Management.Real leadership isn’t defined by a title; it’s defined by impact. Understanding how organizations function as living ecosystems is crucial for anyone looking to drive meaningful progress. This course broke down the vital relationship between visionary leadership and solid organizational structure, proving that you cannot have one succeed without the other. As I wrap up this chapter, I’m feeling incredibly motivated to leverage these strategic tools to foster collaboration, break down silos, and help build high performing environments where everyone can do their best work.

Having the opportunity to participate online from Tanzania was an enriching experience. Throughout the summit, the discussions drove home a powerful truth: the digital economy isn’t just about automation or new technology it’s about people, equity, and intentional design. We dived deep into how we can collectively shape inclusive, sustainable, and tech driven career paths that leave no young person behind, particularly across emerging markets.Engaging with the theme Futureworks: Designing Jobs for the Digital Age provided vital insights into how we can collectively shape inclusive, sustainable, and tech driven career paths for the next generation.I’m incredibly grateful for the global connections made and the powerful dialogues shared. Now, it’s time to take these insights and apply them to drive impact locally.Thank you to the @worldbankgroup for organizing such a timely and impactful summit.

Honored to have attended the youth gathering at UN House Tanzania today! We came together to watch the UN Secretary-General’s Special Address at London Climate Week organized by @unitednations_tz , the conversation certainly didn’t stop there.
From discussing methane emissions and renewables to analyzing AI’s carbon footprint, we reflected deeply on what these global commitments mean for Tanzania’s own climate realities.
Climate action isn’t just an environmental issueit is a development issue, an economic issue, and a justice issue. As young Tanzanians, we are proud to bring our voices, ideas, and leadership to the table to ensure technology and urgent action move us toward a sustainable future. 🇹🇿🌱
