Dear CSS Members, Fans, and Supporters,

Thank you for all the love and support throughout this incredible season. This year, we had 10 teams, 30 players, dedicated stat takers, videographers, photographers, commentators—with over 60+ games. None of this would’ve been possible without the community that rallied around CSS.

Together, we reached an audience of over 50,000 people, and that impact is something I’ll never forget.

To Special Sports, thank you for allowing us to raise money for your amazing foundation. Giving back to the community these past two years has been a privilege, and we’re incredibly grateful to have been part of your mission.

To Dad, Mom, and Sophia—thank you for believing in me unconditionally and pushing me to be my best, even when times were tough. Your support means everything to me. I love you.

To my friends, CSS members, and volunteers—thank you for always showing up. The fact that 35+ people came together for a single weekend says everything about the type of people I’m lucky enough to have in my life. From kindergarten to college, your loyalty has meant the world. You can always count on me, just like I’ve always counted on you.

Starting this league from scratch in 2021 wasn’t easy. There were countless late nights inputting stats, endless texts figuring out where we’d play, and months of planning to pull off one unforgettable weekend. But it was all worth it.

And now, after five amazing years, I’m officially announcing the retirement of the CSS. As hard as it is to say goodbye, I know that the memories and legacy we’ve created will live on. The only constant in life is change—but this chapter will always hold a special place in my heart.

Finally, thank you God for blessing this league with a five-year run full of joy, competition, and community.

CSS Forever. With love,

WHAT IS CELO’S SUMMER SHOWDOWN (CSS) ? 🙏 by @officialcelossummershowdown

“After six months of planning, this year’s Celo’s Summer Showdown was nothing short of incredible.
Words can’t explain how amazing it felt to give back to Special Sports, a nonprofit that helps kids with disabilities play organized sports.

To everyone who donated, supported, or volunteered — thank you.

What started as a backyard basketball league somehow turned into something way bigger than I ever imagined.
For the past five years, this has meant the world to me.

This year may have been the final run, but the memories, the impact, and the love will always stay.

Thank you, CSS.
Forever blessed, forever grateful.”❤️🤟🏼

and a special thanks to @natestuckk for coming out to film. 🔥📸 by @officialcelossummershowdown
