Golden hour at sea. Just us, a sunset and one of those holiday moments worth keeping. #CruiseMemories #GoldenHour #SunsetAtSea #CouplesTravel #HolidayMode by @officialdavidducasse
Such an honour and fun 24hrs with my fellow Scoochers being part of the 67th annual @eurovision song contest, this year brilliantly held in Liverpool on behalf of #Ukraine .. there really is no other music event like it! Thank you to everyone who continues to remember us with a smile. 16yrs on it’s incredible you still hold ‘Flying the Flag’ in your Euro treasure chest of bangers! #unitedbymusic by @officialdavidducasse
💿✨ 27 YEARS AGO TODAY… WHERE IT ALL BEGAN! ❤️💚 On 25th October 1999, SCOOCH released our very first single, When My Baby… and what a journey it started! Written by legendary hitmakers Mike Stock and Matt Aitken, the names behind some of the biggest pop hits of the 80s and 90s, alongside Steve Crosby, our debut single entered the UK Top 30, peaking at No. 29! 🎶 From CD singles and cassette tapes to appearances on SM:TV, Live & Kicking and The Box, it was the beginning of something rather special. Four consecutive UK Top 30 singles followed, including a Top 5 hit with More Than I Needed to Know, and a few years later we’d find ourselves representing the UK at Eurovision! 🇬🇧 But it all started here. Four of us, a catchy little pop song, some very colourful outfits and absolutely no idea what adventures lay ahead! 27 years later, the memories, the friendships and the music are still very much part of our lives. And that’s something worth celebrating. ❤️ So here’s a little trip back to 1999… Who remembers When My Baby the first time around? 👀 #SCOOCH #WhenMyBaby #27YearsOfSCOOCH #90sPop #PopNostalgia by @officialdavidducasse
✨ The Final Chapter | Mediterranean 2026 🚢🌊 And just like that… our first cruise came to an end. ❤️ I never quite finished sharing our final couple of days, so this feels like the perfect way to close the chapter — a few more Mediterranean moments, one last port, one last sunset, one last night on board and that slightly sad feeling when you realise an incredible adventure is almost over. From Rome to Greece, Turkey and everything in between, Celebrity X Ascent gave us 12 days of beautiful places, brilliant entertainment, far too many cocktails, new friends, endless sunsets and memories we’ll be talking about for a very long time. We boarded not really knowing whether cruising would be for us… Safe to say, we got our answer. 🚢💙 Until the next adventure… ✈️🌍 #CelebrityXAscent #CelebrityCruises #MediterraneanCruise #TravelMemories #GayTravel by @officialdavidducasse
🇬🇷✨ Mediterranean Cruise | Day 9 – Mykonos An early start was more than worth it to explore the postcard-perfect streets of Mykonos. Whitewashed buildings, hidden corners, colourful doors… and cats everywhere! 🐈💙 After soaking up the island’s charm, it was back to Celebrity X Ascent for a relaxing afternoon by the pool, before enjoying drinks with friends from South Shields who, by complete chance, we discovered were also on board. 🍹☀️ The day ended with Bridges in the theatre – a spectacular production celebrating human connection through music, dance and breathtaking visuals, taking us from London and Venice to New York, San Francisco and Sydney. Another unforgettable day, another incredible memory. ❤️ #CelebrityXAscent #Mykonos #CelebrityCruises #MediterraneanCruise #TravelReels by @officialdavidducasse
🌊☀️ Mediterranean Cruise | Day 8 – A Day at Sea After a few busy days exploring, today was all about slowing the pace. 💙 Time by the pool, warm sunshine, the sea breeze, and simply enjoying everything Celebrity X Ascent has to offer. The evening was unforgettable thanks to the phenomenal Stephen Barry—an incredible vocalist, effortlessly funny, full of charisma, and so deserving of not one, but two standing ovations. 👏✨ We ended another perfect day watching the sun disappear below the horizon, reminding us that sometimes the simplest moments become the most memorable. #CelebrityXAscent #CelebrityCruises #MediterraneanCruise #LuxuryTravel #TravelReels by @officialdavidducasse
🇹🇷✨ Mediterranean Cruise | Day 7 – Istanbul Our second day in Istanbul was the perfect balance of exploring and relaxing. 💙 After a wander around the port and a spot of shopping for Gareth, it was back on board Celebrity X Ascent for an afternoon by the pool… complete with Gareth throwing himself into the Aqua Fit class! 🏊‍♂️☀️ The evening delivered once again with an incredible performance from Deejay Young, whose career has taken him from Broadway to The Voice, before ending the night in the stunning Eden for the spectacular Allure show. Another unforgettable day, another reminder that life at sea is never short of amazing experiences. 🚢✨ #CelebrityXAscent #CelebrityCruises #Istanbul #MediterraneanCruise #TravelReels by @officialdavidducasse
Day 6 | Istanbul 🇹🇷🚌 You know that moment when your husband gets so excited to explore a new city that he books the first sightseeing bus he sees? Well… this is that story. 😂 What followed was four hours of traffic, crossing the same bridge twice, every famous landmark hiding behind a tree 🌳, one classical song on repeat, and a commentary that seemed to be describing an entirely different city… or buildings that no longer existed! 🤣 Thankfully, Istanbul itself was absolutely incredible, and this reel is all in good fun. ❤️ Sometimes the best travel memories come from the moments that don’t quite go to plan! #Day6 #Istanbul #CelebrityAscent #CruiseLife #TravelReels by @officialdavidducasse
🇹🇷✨ Mediterranean Cruise | Day 5 – Kuşadası, Turkey From exploring the colourful streets and local shops of Kuşadası to slowing the pace with a watercolours class back on board, today was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. 🎨☀️ As the sun went down, Celebrity X Ascent came alive once again with an incredible performance from magician Matt McGurk, fantastic music from 5 Octaves, unforgettable entertainment in the Grand Plaza, and the perfect finale at the Shine the Light Party. ✨🪩 Every port tells a different story, and every evening reminds us why life at sea is so special. Here’s to making memories we’ll never forget. 💙 #CelebrityCruises #CelebrityXAscent #TravelCreator #LuxuryTravel #GayTravel by @officialdavidducasse
🇬🇷✨ Mediterranean Cruise | Day 4 – Santorini Santorini… every bit as beautiful as you’d imagine. 💙 After taking the tender ashore, we enjoyed a quick visit to the island, taking in the stunning views and atmosphere before heading back to Celebrity X Ascent to spend a relaxing afternoon around the pool with a frozen cocktail in hand. 🍹☀️ The evening brought another incredible line-up of entertainment, from the breathtaking Fortissimo, Greece’s first all-female string quartet, to the brilliant Antonio Salci, before ending the night in Eden with Shimmerbox – a dazzling 70s disco spectacular packed with live vocals, dancers and jaw-dropping acrobatics. Another unforgettable day in the Mediterranean. ❤️ #CelebrityXAscent #Santorini #MediterraneanCruise #TravelReel #Greece by @officialdavidducasse
Mediterranean Cruise | Day 3 – Chania, Crete Our first port day did not disappoint. 💙 From wandering the charming streets of Chania’s Old Town and soaking up the atmosphere around the beautiful Venetian Harbour, to cocktails by the waterfront and exploring the historic Maritime Museum, it was the perfect way to experience this stunning corner of Crete. Back on board Celebrity X Ascent, the evening was just as memorable with plenty of laughs, incredible vocal entertainment, a stop at the Martini Bar, and a spectacular sunset at sea to round off another unforgettable day. Already wondering where tomorrow will take us… ✨ #CelebrityXAscent #ChaniaCrete #MediterraneanCruise #CruiseLife #TravelReel by @officialdavidducasse
Mediterranean Cruise | Day 2 – A Perfect Day at Sea 🚢✨ Sometimes the best days are the ones where there’s nowhere to be but on board. 💙 Day 2 was all about making the most of everything Celebrity X Ascent has to offer – a warm welcome from the Captain, spectacular entertainment with Residency, an incredible celebration of the legendary Las Vegas headliners, a breathtaking sunset from the Sunset Bar, and ending the evening with live music in the stunning Eden. Another unforgettable day at sea. ❤️ #CelebrityXAscent #DayAtSea #CruiseLife #MediterraneanCruise #CelebrityCruises by @officialdavidducasse
